Rockport Women's Ridge Sandal

I bought a slightly older version of these sandals five years ago as a teacher in need of support and airy shoes for teaching all day without air conditioning. I have worn them while a grad student and running across town to make classes, part time work, and part time teaching, and as a full time teacher in NYC, on my feet eight hours a day, and I SWEAR by them. My feet never hurt, and they have been through some gross puddles, rainy days, and school hallways and stood up to it all. They are just now, five years later, starting to show some wear, so I’m going to buy myself another pair in black. Highly highly recommend for comfort and durability.

You know those play areas for kids in the mall? It's like walking on that flooring: squishy goodness without the noise. I also have a wide footpad which makes shopping impossible but these are very roomy. They're not my style at ALL but they manage to match pretty much any outfit. I took off a star because I'd never buy these if they weren't so comfortable. The top is form-fitting enough to not crush two hairline fractures on the top of my foot. I can't walk barefoot without pain but these babies I can wear for a week straight without issue. I've never owned Rockport before (nor have I spent such an amount on a pair of shoes) but it's worth it!

These are some nice comfortable shoes, I love them,It feels like I’m walking on air with these.I have been looking for me some rockport and couldn’t find them anywhere, so I gave up and I went to dsw just looking for some sandals,and I seen rockport omg,and other amazing shoes,that was my first time shopping at dsw.Now dsw is my shoe store, I love it there,I will never buy shoes elsewhere again.Thank You DSW, You Are The Best .

Been looking for some stylish sandals with cushioned sole. This fits the bill. The balls of my feet have been killing me after walking for any length of time. After wearing these all day I had no pain - they truly are comfortable. The straps run down the side of sole to give it an updated & stylish look. Love the platinum color. Just ordered them in white too.

I so wanted to love this sandal - the look was exactly what I wanted, but I am so disappointed in these. I had a $30 coupon and decided to splurge on a pair of sandals. SO disappointed Rockport. Very rough, stiff leather, uncomfortable foot bed and uncomfortable toe thong. This sandal also has a velcro strap, not elastic. Looks and feels very cheap.

I had been looking for a sandal with a strap on the back and with the front toe slide for some time. The sandals also needed to be attractive and most important a brand recommended by my podiatrist due to issues with my ankles. I had never purchased Rockport shoes before due to my budget constraints. I decided to purchase these last month using my birthday certificate. The color was the only one available in my size and width which caused some concern. However once they arrived I was happily surprised with the color. They fit very well while wearing my ankle support braces plus I am able to walk for comfortably for a longer period of time than any other sandal I own. I am planning on saving some money so I can purchase another pair of Rockport shoes soon.

I love these sandals! I bought them for a comfortable but cute sandal for work. I've ended up wearing them almost every day for the past month. They truly feel like sneakers, and since I do a lot of walking in my job, I was so pleasantly surprised. I want to order another color or two. The only thing I don't love is that the velcro closure can be tricky- sometimes it doesn't stick, and it's a little tricky to thread back through and fasten if it comes undone while you're on the go. But other than that- love these.

I bought these about 5 years ago and they were the PERFECT sandal!! So comfy, could walk for days in them! BUT now they changed the top of the sandal, it’s a thicker band and now very uncomfortable on the top of my foot when I walk so I returned them ( my foot regular size 7 1/2) I’m very upset because this was my favorite sandal!! I hope they go back to their old sandal design. It was amazing!! ( BTW I’m still using my old pair since I love them so much!!)
