I've been buying the Vans Atwood for years, however the last two pairs I bought (3 weeks appart) have the "white band" ungluing from the shoe after a week of daily use. This is rather ashame as they use to last. They remain as comfortable as before, but again after buying a pair and having it fall appart after two weeks, then a second pair doing the same, I can only assume they're using cheaper material and glue to keep pricing down.
I can no longer recommend them, and will be looking for a different brand.

They cause blisters when first wearing

Stylish, but uncomfortable. They are very stiff when first wearing the shoe. The back of the shoe and the souls are too stiff, making it rub against my ankle causing blisters. The stiff souls cause foot pain after walking for a while. Fits well on wide feet, the blisters and sore feet will probably go away after I've worn them in. The shoes are easy to get on, and they stay secure when wearing, the laces don't untie easily.

I have only worn these a couple times and neither time at great length but they seem rather comfortable. The only thing I found was that my usual size 7 seemed a bit snug but then the 7.5 were definitely too big. I chose to purchase the 7 and hope they may give a bit, but if not, they aren’t uncomfortably small for just casual wear.

This is the second pair of VANS I have purchased for my son. We did not expect the first pair to last for longer than a year, but they surpassed our expectations. They fit him comfortably, the wear and tear is beyond average, and they are stylish.

Actually bought another type on through the store and they did not fit - took them back and they did not have my size - walking through the store and found these - tried them on an very comfortable and price was perfect

I bought these for my boyfriend and I really like the look of them!
He has to wiggle his foot in which seems to annoy him but I’m sure once he breaks them in they will slip on with ease.
