New Balance Men's 608 Extra Wide Width Training Sneaker

I like the shoes for sure, but honestly I thought it wouldn't be so stiff at the top near the ben of your toes. I got the wides, which I should've gotten just the normal width because I forgot that most new balances are naturally wide, I think it fits fine with the width but for some reason it made it longer at the front end of the shoe. The durability is great and I like how well the laces don't randomly become untied. I feel like it could've been better with the arch support like most of their other shoes, but other than that, it's a nice shoe.

I commonly like these shoes. However, the Men’s 608’s I ordered on 9/21 have already started to separate at the seems.

I've bought NB 608 since 2000. This shoe I only wear at Jazzercise. I arrive in my separate shoes and change into my 608's for the most wear. Because of my height and weight I purchased 2 shoes at a time. I'm 6ft 175 lbs I wear a men's 11 2E the best comfort for me. Gina

While the cut is roomy, this is the second pair in the last 6 weeks where the sole is separating. Truly disappointing quality @NewBalance!

Disappointed that I had a similar problem to my last purchase. The stitching along the seam in the from once again started to unravel.

I bought these shoes like two months ago and they are the best for working shoes so light and non slip

I bought my 608s. They have a great aesthetic and I was excited to make them my everyday shoe. Unfortunately, a persistent comfort issue with the right shoe has prevented that. There is a stiff piece of material on the inner side of the right heel, just above the heel cup, that causes significant pain during wear. After three months of use, it has not broken in or softened at all. I had hoped it would resolve with time, but the discomfort remains bad enough that I actively avoid wearing them despite genuinely wanting to. I love the look of these shoes and want to give them a higher rating, but I cannot recommend them without flagging this issue.

I have recently needed to change my shoe choices to accomodate my aging body (and feet). I have worn New Balance before with few complaints. This leather 608 is a good value for an everyday shoe, with moderate cushioning, good rear/heel structure and a wide toe box (13/2E). A little heavy, a lot like my old court shoes, and not sure how they woud hold up in cross training, jogging or impact sports, but this shoe is functional, stylish and comfortable for most daily adult wear and tear. I like the sole design and composition, and the moderate heel "drop" (vs super foam on so many shoes now, so you "feel" the ground, aiding balance).
