Squeaky

I have bought Monarch Air’s each year for the last 6 years, but the last two have been disappointing. Within a week they have a horrible squeak. The soles dont appear to be glued as well as they used to be.

Big shoe to fit my 13.5EEEEEE feet.
I think I bought the last pair available in 14extra-wide. It was one of only two pair of sneaker type shoes available in 14 or 15 extra wide in all of Canada. I'm quite serious. And US outlets that sell wide shoes often don't ship to Canada because it's too much hassle. Anyway, they are a bit snug but comfy enough... don't hurt my toes by squeezing them to death. Remember, I'm reviewing EXTRA WIDE... the only and only reason I bought them. But, of the two shoes I bought, these are the more comfortable. Not the kind of shoe I want, nor desire, but all that was available in large wide size in the entire country... ALL OF CANADA.
Yes, I recommend this product.

On my feet 10+ hours a day and they're good to me

I'm janitor at a sheet metal place constantly walking, pushing, and lifting things for 10+ hours a day. I bought these on a whim knowing nothing about shoes but knowing enough that I need something nice to separate me from the ground. They're solid and do the job; only gripe is they're kind of narrow at my foot's widest point which really bothers me because my feet aren't that wide and my skinny skate shoes don't have this problem. It took a few weeks to break them in somewhat but given the extreme task I give these shoes, I'm happy with them regardless. Won't buy them again but I don't regret them for what they are

Excessive squeaking. Horrible!!
Not Happy
I have been wearing these for work for years. They are very comfortable, and I go through about three pairs a year in my remodeling business. I bought three pairs at once. They all squeaked horribly. I generally will use them to wear out until they progress toa work shoe and finally to a grass cutting shoe. Two of the last three went straight to work but they were so loud and embarrassing I tossed them out. I have seen so many complaints of this I am switching brands!

Great all around sneaker.

I bought these shoes for work. I am on my feet 9+ hours everyday constantly moving. These are the first sneakers I've bought that have held up. The half dozen sneakers I've bought in the past all fell apart within 6 months. I bought the Nike monarchs in February and I just bought my 2nd pair in October. I replaced them due to the soles wearing out. Which is typical with all my work shoes. But I can say the outside of the shoes surprised me by holding up perfectly with no cuts, scrapes, or tears. I recommend these shoes if you need a good black work shoe and don't want to pay the $175+ for boots.

Most comfortable athletic shoes ever!

This is my second pair of Nike Air Monarch shoes after my original pair from 2007 got worn out. I must say this is the most comfortable athletic shoes I've ever had! They're perfect for my daily 5-mile walks great for gym use and perfect for daily casual wear. As evidenced by my first pair, this pair is long-lasting and will be the perfect complement to your feet. Your feet will thank you for these! I highly recommend these shoes.

Falling Apart

Great fitting and comfortable but not very long lasting. I had these for about a month and already falling apart. Not very good for a $100.00 pair of sneakers.
