Misleading.
I wear lots of new balance and the website says “extra wide” so that means at least for NB a 4E shoes. These are in fact 2E shoes. So they should be labeled as “Wide” not “EXTRA WIDE”

Comfortable Enough To Wear Without Orthotics
My husband loves New Balance runners and these are no different. He found the footbed very comfortable and the shoes are very light weight. He usually wears orthotics in his runners but wore these the whole day without any and had no foot pain. They were a really good price and as rural Ontarians, we really appreciate the fact that DSW ships for free so we did not have to travel around to pick these shoes up.

So Comfortable and Cushiony
These runners have a super soft sole and are feather-light. Greatly lessens impact against pavement.

Poor fit
Had to send them back because the fit is too narrow. I have purchased many pairs of new balance shoes in size 10 1/2 4E and this is the first pair that didn’t fit right.

Walker Elite for my Feet
Shoes arrived just in time for my Mediterranean cruise. These shoes climbed St Peters Dome, the Acropolis, Mars Hill, and the streets of Mykonos. They were light, comfortable and sturdy. Can't wait to make them my everday shoes when I get home.

New Balance, what's up?
Worst shoes that I ever bought. I have been wearing the same size shoe, 9D for decades. These shoes are unusable and cannot be returned as I wore them outside (how can you tell how your feet will feel if you don't walk at least a mile.Nothing feels right with this shoe. Cannot feel support as the interior does not match up with a 9D foot. And, now, New Balance doesn't even have them on their website.

It's New Balance!
It's New Balance. Shouldn't have to say anything else. It fits. it's comfortable. It doesn't need a break in. I've only bought one other brand in 30 years and that was a mistake .

Tight even with wide size
Purchaed two different pairs with the same wide size. This FuelCell walking shoes and one Freshform running shoes. This FuelCell walker is not wide enough at the shoebox like the other one. It's hard even after breaking in for two weeks. Will not buy again.

The shoes are true to size. I have been wearing New Balance since the 1980’s. I have been able to buy these products because of the continuity in design and fit. The shoes are consistent in size and fit. I have been a runner, walker, hiker, tennis player etc. The shoes are always true to size. I am a retired Physcian and have recommended the product to my patients over the years. There is no perfect product but this product seems to fit the bill for a majority of people.

Run big
These shoes run huge. I ordered a size 16, like all of my other new balance shoes. These ones fit like an 18. Unfortunately, I cannot try on shoes in stores and return shipping is outrageous, so I am stuck with them.
