Comfortable and Durable

A few years ago, I bought my first pair of Keens. Ever since then, I knew I would be a returning customer. Keen provides the most for space I have ever found in any shoe. I have lots of space for my foot, while also not slipping around in the shoe at the same time. Great heel lock technology. I work on my feet, all day from 8-10 hours, so I need a pair of comfy shoes/sandals if I decide to go out after my shift. Keen is the right choice for my feet! 👣 I have never thrown a pair of Keens away. Every pair that I have bought, I’ve kept or donated if no longer worn. Better for the planet 🌎🌍🌏

This men’s Newport H2 is

This men’s Newport H2 is so small that when I got it I thought I might have ordered 9 size for youth. No, they were men’s 9. I have another pair of Keen of men’s 9. So i put them side-by-side and took a picture for your reference. I couldn’t even put my feet into these Newport H2 and had to return them. If you are size 9, you may want to buy size 10-11.

Welcome back my old friends. . . Let the adventures continue!

I had a pair of these Keen Newport Sandals since the original year they came out, in 2003. I finally wore out the heels of the soles in 2023, but I kept wearing them until that summer, and felt a little bit of my soul went away when I donated them to Goodwill. The deck and webbing was still in great shape, even though I wore those things everywhere, all over the world, even in the snow. When my new Newport H2 Sandals arrived last week, I feel like my adventures would be continued / restored. Their fit, form and function are just as good or better than the originals! It's great to back together with my all-time favorite footwear!

No warranty response - poor stitch with gentle use

I bought the Newport H2 sandals. I wear sz 10, but I had to get this 10. 5 for the correct fit. I had enjoyed the rugged soles. But, the ankle patch (where keen logo is) that holds 3 straps has its stiches undone, with very gentle and sporadic use, and, I contacted the warranty with the claim number with the pictures and description. But they never responded. Good quality I thought but short lived with stitch construction. And the their warranty is non existent in my case. Felt betrayed with this USA owned company.

Good shoe - one fatal flaw

There is much to love about the Keen Newport H2, with one major and unavoidable flaw that makes them a hard pass for anyone who wants to treat their body with respect. That 9mm heal to toe drop. . The good - they are comfortable, attractive (despite their marketing claims of being the worlds ugliest sandal) and cool (at least during this fashion cycle). The bad - debris gets in, and it doesn't leave. The ugly (truth) - heel to toe drops ruin your bodies ability to align, when your heel goes up, your knees go forward, your hips go back and your spine is out of whack. Like what I did there? I'm not a hardcore "barefoot" shoe head - but zero drop is science not trend - I wish keen made these with out that big slant, and hopefully this review is one step closer to that!

Durable Hiking Sandal

Very, very durable. I really appreciate that the sandals are waterproof and one can hike in various terrain with them. I also like having a closed toe. Only one drawback for me. I wish there was more arch support because I have pes plantus and plantar fasciitis. The soles are soft and I scuffed the heal on a concrete curb and a chunk came off. My fault - fortunately it held together.

Not quite the same

My old pair (really old) seem to be made a big more sturdy. These are not as wide and the materials are not as good so they are not that good looking up close. However my old ones are falling apart so I guess I will give these a go. I have three other styles that I still adore just to be fair!

Great fit & comfy

I love my new Keens. Only my 3rd pair in 18 years. They last forever and hold their shape. My girls are happy I replaced the old ones. Ha!
