Defective shoes

I bought a first pair in store and once in the quiet of my home I noticed that these shoes make noise when you walk. Like a balloon inflating/deflating kind of sound. It comes from the inner sole moving as you walk. I went back to the store and exchanged them but the new pair makes the same sound. It's faint enough that it couldn't be heard in a crowd but if you walk in a quiet environment people will hear you walk by. It's too bad because they are super comfortable but I'll sadly have to return them because of this flaw in design.
