Clarks Womens' Maelynn Gen Sandal

I am a fan of Clark's shoes, however these were too loose. I first ordered a smaller size (size 10), but my toes were right at the edge of the sandal. I decided to order the next size up (size 11). They are too loose. Maybe if Clark's would make 1/2 sizes once you get to a size 10, this wouldn't be an issue. For some reason they assume that women's feet don't grow in 1/2 sizes once you pass 9 1/2. Men on the other hand go 11 1/2. Normally for sandals the 1/2 size isn't an issue, but for regular shoes, it really does make a difference in the feel and the fit. Come on Clark's, women's feet are getting bigger, get with the times.

Lightweight. Very comfortable and supportive. Nice color.

I got these in the sand taupe color because I figured it would be a good neutral, it is very pale, a bit paler than I prefer. I love that these are leather and have a good sturdy comfort sole. However, these fit me loose, though they have velcro to tighten up a bit, the one strap cannot be adjusted, and it is too loose. I feel as though my foot tends to want to slide forward in these. I don't like my shoes to fit tight, but I also don't want them so loose that they feel like my foot is swimming around in them. I'm afraid these will have to go back. I got my normal 7.5 medium width and length is fine, it is just the width of the straps, it feels more like a wide width. If you have wider feet these will probably be fine for you

Beautiful colour and style but the straps are too loose and not adjustable through the instep and heel.

Because I have a bunion on right foot with a spacer and other toe spacers 7.5 size did not fit 8 fit on right but too big for left foot. Thus had to return to my dismay.

In the store this sandal felt good but the first time I wore it the back strap kept slipping down. There’s a bit of elastic in that strap which makes it less secure. I wish I would have worn it around my house more before going outside. Now I’ll need a repair.

Good for seniors without swollen feet. These were tok marrow for my mom but really nice quality. Would have kept if more generous in width. Two places to adjust but still not sufficient for her.

I recently bought these sandals and I am delighted with them.
