Birkenstocks have been for many years my go to sandals for comfort. At one time I thought that I would never wear a pair as nothing appealed to me. But one evening on a shopping channel I took a chance! Since then I’ve owned a number of pairs. I wand to update my wardrobe so I chose one with the big buckles but kept to a basic color of tan. The tan color and gold buckles go very good together. I also plan to wear these a long time, as all my other Birks don’t seem to wear out, so I purchased the oiled leather. I’m very pleased with the over all look and plan to use them for a lot of years!

Not as narrow as you might think

I was worried that these sides would be to narrow. As I just have a regular width foot. When I ordered they only had the size narrow. But they fit great. Get ‘em. Got a 9 narrow. I float between an 81/2 and 9 so I sized up and I like the extra room

Zero give, so don't expect to break them in

I wanted to like these, and I gave them a chance, I really did. Since buying them, I wear them on a weekly basis, usually just around the house, because I keep telling myself I'm breaking them in. Then, when I went to leave this review, I realized I bought them a full year and a half ago. They should absolutely be broken in my now lol. But they still give me blisters on my outer arches, and that's just from wearing them for brief periods of time. I loved my regular Birks. They were easy to break in, and once they were they felt like a second skin. But I'm a major sucker for gold accents, so I decided to give these a try. Swing and a miss. Going back to my regular Gizehs and Arizonas.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Love these so much!

I have these in black with gold buckle and got them in the tan color with gold buckle. I found them in store and knew if I didn’t buy them now they would sell out. I will be living in these this summer! I’m usually a size 7 and 38 fits perfectly.

Beautiful Sandal! Leather is great quality and the gold buckle is nice character. Like any new shoe, have to break in for comfort.
