Disappointed
I usually love Saucony shoes and was looking to replace my beloved Kinvara 13. The Convergence are really the same fit-wise, but unfortunately, they're really not durable! After less than 200 km, there was already holes on each toebox, and I take good care of my things. This pair is a disappointment.

Chinese taijiquan either yang style or wu style...
The summer has gone I know albeit I put the saucony on to do the tai chi movement of the yang style. It was easy to do . . . the formwork wasn't difficult was so easy to do

Why change a good thing? Don’t like the fit.
This is about fit, not quality. I have the Convergence from last year and I really like it. I do NOT like the new Convergence. Whatever changes made relative to the prior generation/model are horrible. The shoe is more narrow and very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t even keep it for a walk around shoe, let alone running in it. Why make a good thing worse? Now I am in need of a 4mm drop/offset shoe with a low stack, which are proving to be quite hard to find. If you’re interested in making a great (4mm drop) shoe please copy the Brooks PureFlow 6. Brooks stopped making that shoe several years ago. It was the best shoe I’ve ever had. 4mm drop/offset with a slightly wider (not excessive) toe box. Happy to share more feedback anytime. Thank you!

Saucony Convergence
Worst Saucony shoes I have had in over 30 years. Quality has gone down and size I have been wearing for over 30 years now is too small. I will think twice about ordering another Saucony product.

Too fragile
I bought these because I wasn't ready to let go of the old Kinvara style. They were good out of the box, but it became clear early on that the upper was not up to the task. I only have about 250km on these and the upper is disintegrating on the inner part, near the ball of the foot where it meets the sole. The left side is worse, but the ride side is also tearing. I would not recommend these shoes.

Not the best shoe they have made.
Light shoe. Yet, the mesh folds by the big toe digging in. It is one of the poorer designs. I would not suggest wearing this shoe on long walks.

Too narrow. Shame
Too narrow in the heel cup. Good looking shoe. But unfortunately not comfortable. I have slightly narrow feet too

Can't beat the weight
I bought these several weeks ago as a coaching shoe for me. I coach softball and I have MS so the lite shoe helps as my body fatigues and I begin to have foot drop issues. The support with how lite the shoe is has been great.

Major Blowout
My pair of Saucony Convergence were not good shoes. As an avid runner, I have tracked running miles on a lot of shoes over the years, including many Saucony models. I have always gotten 400+ miles before retiring any of my shoes from running. By the time I got to 200 miles on my Convergence, the tread was almost gone. Then around 220 miles, the inside of the upper, along the ball of the foot started blowing out on one of the shoes. I tried to patch it to get a few more miles, but the mesh tore away from the patch. And then holes started appearing across the top of the toes and the mesh on the outside began to blow out on the other shoe. I gave up and dishonorably discharged them at 273 miles, far short of the 400 miles that I aim for as a minimum. I've always liked my Saucony shoes, so I won't abandon Saucony yet, but I will certainly not buy another pair of Convergence. Please do better, Saucony.

Great fit. Poor quality.
Looked great, felt great but after only 6 weeks, I got a hole in them. I haven’t been wearing them everyday. Normal wear and tear and the occasional pickleball game. I want to support this brand but I can’t fully do so until there is an investment for higher quality material. Really unfortunate.

Light weight, comfortable but size feels smaller
Bought these to wear around house and for walking. Happy with the weight of shoe but size feels smaller than typical/not true to size. I've noticed this with other Saucony shoes as I've been wearing/using them for years. Feels like half size too small.

Great shoe for the price
Great shoe for the price! Minimal but adequate cushioning, breathable upper, and great fit. Works well as a daily wear shoe for walking.

Pleasantly Surprised. Amazing value.
Reminds me of early generation Kinvara's. Very light. I thought the soles looked cheap but they seem to be holding up ok. Uppers very comfortable.

Shoe for long time Kinvara wearers
I have been wearing Saucony Kinvaras since their debut around 2009. Have probably bought 40 pairs over the years.. Almost all versions have been great shoes. I've stopped wearing them because of the increase in stack height (aka platform shoes) in the last 2 versions. As a supinator these high shoes cause me to roll my ankles. The Convergence is a great option. Reminds me of the older Kinvaras I've loved so much. So far they have been great. Saucony: please consider making a "Kinvara Classic" for loyal customers like me. In the meantime the Convergence isn't a bad substitute

The Kinvara 13 with a different upper?
Looks like the same base as the Kinvara 13 but I’m not sure it’s the same foam because it doesn’t have that “pop”. A bit narrow in the forefoot at first but alls good after breaking in. Good value.
