Comfortable!

Comfortable! Never had shoes feel so wide spacious roomy and comfortable on my feet. Extra wide was true to size. Inserts may be needed as the soles feel hard and hurt heels after extended wear.

New Balance are the only shoes my son can wear and have ever been able to wear, since 10years old (now he is 27) because he has disability and his size number is 5.5 but it needs to be extra wide. I never found another brand that makes EW in his number. Specially the 990 model works because is reinforced on the sides and contains his feet. Thank you!! I am so grateful to New Balance thanks to them my son can walk wearing shoes. Blessings, please keep making it.

I’m so glad that this shoe comes in extra wide . My son wears braces on his legs and feet and it’s extremely hard finding shoes that look cute and also work! These are great and went on perfect.
