Comfort and good fit

I have had a minor variation og this dame shoe for over 15 years. I wore the first pair out and due to unexpected circumstances, am without the 2nd and 3rd pairs. I ordered a 4th pair a few weeks ago. I had my misgivings that the available variation would be as comfortable. Well, the new ones are just as amazing. I sometimes forget that I'm wearing them. These are my go to shoes for travel. I've walked miles in San Francisco, at major airports in comfort. Even with weak ankles and now mild edemea, these are great. Just ordered another pair.

I have been looking for zippered shoes like this for several years since the last pair I owned (from another company) had to be discarded. I've used these for about a month now and find them very comfortable with grippy soles. I bought Size 7 W (I normally wear 6.5 W) and think that the shoes run a tad small. With the shoe fully enclosing the foot like in this design, there needs to be more volume in the shoe for the foot to not feel 'suffocated'. I would have liked a bit more cushiony feel. But I am probably used to the feel of my similar old pair.

I was surprised that this Merrill knock off actually fit my high instep. But, I was looking for a flat shoe. It's not a flat shoe. Inside and outside heel height adds up to about an inch higher than the toe. Plus they added weird squishy stuff inside that makes your heel rock side-to-side instead of feeling stable. I wish shoe manufacturers wouldn't try so hard. There's no real research into whether these features actually do something - more like they're copying big name tennis shoes with random things.

I bought this style to replace a 4-year old Easy Spirit shoe that was very similar. In the old shoe, there wasn't the stitching across the front. I had that shoe in a Medium fit. For this shoe, I bought a Medium fit but found that the stitching created just that extra tightness so that it wasn't comfortable on my feet, which are slightly wide. Am going to exchange for the same size in a Wide fit, in hopes that that will work. Otherwise, this is a comfortable and durable shoe brand.

I wanted navy shoes so I ordered these Navy Easy Spirit zip up shoes. Loved the shoes when I saw them! I wear a size 91/2 to 10 and the 10 was not available so I ordered the 9/12. I like this shoes so much that I have kept the 91/2 even tho it is a little narrow on my foot. I can get by with the length and hoping they will stretch a little as I continue to wear. 5 stars if it were a the size 10 for my perfect fit in this brand!!!

I’m so glad that I found these shoes on the clearance rack, they are one of the most comfortable shoes that I own. I usually can’t wear a zip up shoe like this because I have a very high arch and instep. I also have narrow heels which usually slide out of the back of most shoes. My feet don’t slide out at all and they’re not too tight for my instep. The bottoms are nicely cushioned too. They fit true to size.

Happened to find these a week before a trip that included a lot of walking. Now I’m not sure what I would have worn if I didn’t have them. Extremely comfortable, lightweight, they have gone nicely with everything (I got them in black), and they turned out to be so easy to get on and off because of the zipper in the front. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
