Great shoe but not wide fit per description. Decided to purchase another Balance shoe with actual wide fit. If you're looking for wide fit this is not it. If you're looking for a typical good fitting shoe then this is your shoe.

I was hopefully that the reviews about the hook and loop malfunctioning after a month were a fluke because these were the only shoes wide enough for my kid. But nope, at about 5 weeks of wearing them one of the shoes would no longer stay closed. We bought Velcro and sewed it on ourselves on the side we thought was problematic. And after a few more weeks it was not working again. Otherwise my kid seems happy with the shoes. We don’t have any other options for an extra wide, high volume shoe as far as I know.

My 8yr old loves them. Says they felt really light, and comfortable. He has wide feet and has sensory issues, so it’s not easy to find shoes that are comfortable for him. New Balance is our new favorite shoe brand!

Very very poor quality. Kids shoes don’t last as long as adult shoes, but these set a new record for quickly falling apart. The velcro stopped working within 2 weeks. The bottom started peeling off a week later. A few weeks later the inside heal started to come apart and now plastic pokes my son in his heal. We’ve been buying NB for awhile but I think it’s time to find a new brand that actually last more than a month.

Shoes looks great but the Velcro strap is poor quality. Only a few weeks into use and it doesn’t hold at all. Going to return them. So disappointed in the quality.

I hate to write a negative review but this is so frustrating!!! All three of my kids shoes velcro failed to work after couple of months. Shoes are comfortable and kids love it but this seems like a recurring issue with many lines of New balance.. this should be resolved ASAP!!!!

I ordered these sneakers for my son on January 21st. It’s now March 24th and the front part of the shoe has peeled back and the Velcro won’t stay together. Far too expensive to be completely useless after two months of wear. My son is on the autism spectrum and need adaptive closures to be able to put his sneakers on himself and I was hoping these would be our go-to but I’m not wasting any more money on new balance sneakers.

The glue is coming undone within the first week of getting these. Kids shoes should last. They shouldn't get trash because they're kids
