I wanted to love them but….

I want to love them because they are incredibly easy for my child to get on independently and they are lightweight. My son also says they are very comfortable which is important. However, the inside footbed is already deteriorating after only a week of wearing them and my son has come home with soaked socks the majority of the days he’s worn them - he has not been out in a rainstorm or downpour, just your regular wetness from the early winter. I will have to look for another boot for him for the winter as I cannot have him with soaking wet feet on the regular.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Solid Winter Boot

My son had a pair of Sorels where the liner kept sliding and bunching, so I was in search of a replacement for something better. Got these Kamik boots and they have been great! The liner is soft and is NOT removable (so if that is your preference, stay away from these ones). We've had a few other models of Kamik in the past that we've loved and these are no different. Well-made, warm, waterproof, easy to get on and off. Pretty much what every child needs to survive a Canadian winter.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good boots

I bought two pairs, one for each of my kids. They love the velcro strap around the ankle that stops the boot from moving on the foot when they walk. The boots are light and pleasantly fuzzy inside. It hasn't snowed here yet so I can't say how they perform in the snow or really cold weather. The lining does feel a bit thin so I have my doubts about how long their feet will stay warm in thebcoldest part of winter. That being said, their feet got cold wearing Sorel boots last year and these boots feel better than those ones did. One of my kids remarked that one of the boots presses on the outside of their foot where the insole meets the side of the boot because of the curve of the boot. I think that problem will be solved by a good pair of thick socks. Overall these are a good, solid, winter boot that stand up to slush, are lightweight and fit well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good enough but not the best

The lightest snow boots you will ever see. Seem warm enough as well and I love the light fur lining inside. However, the sole on the inside seems like it is poor quality and already deteriorating after only a few wears. Hopefully will last one winter!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great brand!

Winter isn't in full swing yet, so my son has not used it in the snow. But we bought Kamik because his previous pair (very similar to this pair) was an excellent boot. So I am hoping that this boot will be just as great!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I would give a 0 if I could

Cheaply made and not worth the price! Poor insulating and they cannot keep my child’s feet warm. And I don’t have the packing slip, so they won’t return them. Now I’m stuck with these “boots” that offer zero warmth!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Waterproof children's winter boots

Bought for my granddaughter. Had her try them on and walk around the store in them before purchasing. I gave a rating of 4 stars, because she has not tested the waterproof part as yet.

Good value for the price

While we haven't used them for the winter cold just yet, these boots are a little more lightweight than the sorels we had previously and a good value for the price point.

Yes, I recommend this product.
