Well made shoes
I have this shoe for 2 years walking, hiking, running with dogs. I still have it on. My feet are protected by this well made strong shoe. Make sure wear socks for better feet protection.

Longer than usual size
Bought usual size but these run long. With extra insoles I can wear but hope they don’t stretch!

Comfortable
Love the brand so purchased while on sale. Too much snow and very cold weather to wear while hiking. Did wear around the house and so comfortable and look forward to wearing them when it warms up.

Excellent trail hikers!
Awesome lightweight trail hikers!! Flexible, water-resistant (not quite proof) and comfortable. Tongue and heel height are perfect - not too high like some of the beefy hiking shoes (and I tried on dozens of brands!) that felt constrictive and limited ankle movement. They're like my fav pair of Hoka's on steroids. Sprayed twice with waterproofing. Easy to adjust heavy cord laces. Appreciate the side tread is light grey, not stark white - maybe they'll stay cleaner looking longer. I have wide-ish feet and the toe bed is comfy but sized up from 8.5 to 9 to wear thicker socks. The anti-slip tread makes me feel confident walking on slippery leaves and thru puddles. Also the color is everything!

Comfort
Good for these late fall days love the thicker sole I do change the insole to a more cushioned insole, and space to add a foot warming pad without discomfort. And they do look good ! Fits to size , and I always order them in line

Great shoe for beginner hikers
Bought these for a trip to the redwoods national forest. These were super comfortable and really didn’t need breaking in as I was only able to wear them once for a 2 mile walk prior to our trip and never had any problems! Definitely size down a half size.

Comfortable, breathable shoes
These shoes are so comfortable! Cushioning without being sloppy, at least for me. As I don't hike much these days, these are great for easy walks. I got a 10.5 which fits me well, although I sometimes need an 11 in Merrell walking shoes. It doesn't feel too big for me. It's my go anywhere shoe these days.

Great hiking shoes that also happen to be vegan
I've been wearing these just about everywhere since I got them. They offer great support, but are also light and comfy. I haven't tested them in wet weather yet so fingers crossed my feet will stay dry. I love that they are also vegan, and use (mostly) recycled materials.

Thrilled with Merrills
I am a power walker. I broke my foot a few months ago and my foot specialist suggested I get a shoe that would not let my foot bend near the break if I wanted to continue walking. I tried on many, many shoes and your Merrill’s did the trick. I’m thrilled and walking again. Thank you

Good shoes!
Loved these! They were perfect for hiking through streams and light climbing. I think a half size larger would’ve been a slightly better fit, but I’m still very happy with these.

Great for Narrow Feet!
I think most Merrell hiking shoes are ugly and built for old wide hobbit feet. These are not only stylish and youthful, they actually fit my very narrow feet.

didn’t hold up
Unfortunately didn’t hold up, I love Merrell and have had them for 20 plus years. This was my daughters first pair and we went hiking out in Utah and unfortunately 15 days of trip and the inside of the ankle area has frailed and split open on both shoes. So sad.

Great but sized differently than previous yesrs
Loved my 4s and these are great but they are a sloppy cut in size bigger than the same size in the 4s. Still a great shoe but size accordingly.
