Used it in Whistler

It’s very light weight and the zip technology makes it easier to wear. It’s not slippery in snow but on flattened snow you’ll still slip if you’re not careful. For its thermal properties, I use it in the Whistler mountain peaks for sightseeing, for a tropical girl who’s not so used into snow and winter I am satisfied with the shoe quality

For tiny calves

Not only did I need a long shoehorn to get these boots on, they are mid shaft boots and I could only do the boots up an inch. Definitely not for people with bigger calves. It's too bad. The sole width was perfect. I think Kamik would have had a super hit with these if the circumference was more proportionate. I'm glad Shoe Company has a good return policy. It's on me for not paying attention to the shaft circumference from the description of the footwear.

Don’t buy unless desperate

I bought these mid-December 2025 and they are definitely not made for Canadian winter. It’s a joke saying they are good up to -30C. At -10C with windchill my feet are in pain from the cold. Also, the zipper gets stuck quite often. I only gave them two stars because they are easy to put on and are good for wide feet.

I was very happy to find this boot in my size on The Shoe Company website! It was delivered in just a few days and was exactly as show in the images and description. Reviews were helpful making my decision to buy and I'm pleased I did. Looking for more footwear for summer now!

Great boots

Great boots. They are very comfortable. I bought a size higher. That may be why they are a bit more comfortable. I like that they are waterproof. I can use them on rainy days too. This is my first time buying boots from Kamik and I’m happy with the purchase.

Zipper is poor design.

In theory it looks like a warm practical boot and I got it because of the zipper opening but when you open the zipper the boot barely opens up wide enough for you to put your foot in! Extremely difficult to put on! I returned it right away!

Comfortable with mild grip

I have wide feet, and this was the most comfortable boot I could find. If you remove the sole it comes with, it's roomier. I put my own custom orthotics in it. The bottom doesn't have the most grip though, be careful on ice!
