Quality Has Gone Downhill

I bought these shoes from DSW on March 27th, 2019 and I got them roughly 2 weeks later. It’s been less than a month and they already have a hole in them. I used to wear Chucks daily in high school and they never got holes or tears in them this quickly. They just don’t make them like they used to. Now I’m disappointed I’m out $50 and have to buy new shoes quicker than expected.

I've wanted these shoes for a while, so when I got them in the mail and saw the size on the shoes were smaller than the ones I had ordered (maybe - I was a little confused about the men and women's sizing because I'd remembered Converse sizing to be unisex), I was too impatient to return them or look into that. They started out small, and a little painful, though they've gotten comfier after a few weeks of regular use. Either way, they look great with jeans and skirts, so I'm happy.

i ordered these shoes and they took 5 hours to get here. when they got here I had mistaken them for the banana slicer i had ordered a couple days earlier and ran to the door yelling "MY BANANA SLICER!!!" news flash it wasn't my banana slicer. i opened the box to find another box but that was she shoe box . i was disappointed because it wasn't my banana slicer. but i was still exited for the shoes. i opened them and put the on only to find GUMMY BEARS ............... on my counter. haha you thought i was going to say in my shoes but they were on my counter. they shoes fit great and ya

Pulled these out of the box to try on for the first time and the lace snapped in half right in my hand. Cheap. I wore these throughout high school and the shoes then felt more durable and better made. It hasn't been THAT long but it sure does feel like these shoes are the cheapest of the cheap now.

Wore them to play basketball in 40 years ago... who would have thought that today's teen crowd would love them as a vital fashion element. Ok, they're well-made and comfortable, so there could be a lot worse things that they could wear!

I was looking for a sneaker that looked good with a slim leg jean. My other sneakers only worked with looser jeans or shorts. I personally prefer the high-top over the low-top since it has more of a retro look.

I always wanted to get a pair, waited until they were discounted and has a coupon. score :) however they are a bit tight on my pinky, and I got half size longer (wear 7,5 got 8) so will need time to break them in - hopefully pinky section will stretch a little...? I would recommend getting wide(if available) for those who have wider feet (oh and actually I consider my feet/toes to be very skinny, so surprised that these shoes are snug on my skinny feet)
but anyway, great color! classic style! will probably wear them for the rest of my life (if pinky toes won't bother)
