Birkenstock Women's Gizeh EVA Sandal

I’m not sure if it takes some time to break these shoes in or not but I notice the top of the section that goes in between my toes on my left foot is rubbing against my second toe. This is my first day wearing them and it’s already bothering me. I’m hoping it goes away as I get use to them but it looks and feels like I might develop a blister. Also, they are kinda squeaky when I walk. But the pluses are they are cute, light weight and cheap.

I never understood the Birkenstock hype...that is until I saw this pair, started researching, and now I get it. The comfort of these sandals are top notch and arch support is important, especially if you spend a lot of time on your feet. These sandals are low maintenance; easy to slip on and clean when you're on the go - perfect for dog walking, errands, a day at the park or pool, brunch, etc. I'm a true 9.5 and size 40 is a perfect fit. I know how important photos are to a review and wanted to provide a side profile, for anyone wondering which size to purchase. Although many state the Gizeh runs big, these are true to size for me.

I ordered the coral color online after trying on a black pair at a DSW store. I tried on a size 9 and they fit perfectly, so I ordered a size 9 online. When I got them in the mail and put them on, they did not fit like they did in the store. They feel about a half size too big. I am going to keep them since I bought them for going back and forth from the pool (and honestly just don't feel like exchanging them), but I am a little bummed the size 9 feels big. Nevertheless, I love the color and looking forward to wearing them in the summer.

So I always wear a size 7 but when I purchased these sandals in black a few years ago I sized down to a 36 it did take some breaking in and waiting for the fart noises to pass but once you get through that super comfortable!!!!! And worth it in my opinion anyway I just received my second pair in white sooo cute I ordered same size but they are no longer the same size they are making them much smaller now so had I tried on in store I would have gotten a 37 in both sandals in pic are size 36 but the black ones are clearly bigger

I like these because if I get them wet or sandy, they clean up easy. Unlike the leather style birks which would maybe get stinking once wet. They fit true to size, I’d even say they are good for wide feet, because I have sorta wide feet and they are comfortable. I have to get used to walking in a shoe like this, however, I can really feel it in my calf’s and shins. But it’s a change in what I normally walk around in. I’ll get used to it. I like the white color.

Ordered the black EVAs (1/2 off w/coupons) after I received the original cork version in mocha and tried them on. Very comfortable slides. Had to have a pair that are water friendly. Bought my regular size 7.5 or 38. Both pairs fit perfectly. Love, love, love them. Covid-19 has me home bound but I’ve been wearing them around the house. Can’t wait for the weather to break. I’m happy with my purchases. Happy quarantine birthday to me!

I am loving my new Birkenstock’s! I just got them in the mail a few days ago and they are very comfortable. I’ve been wearing them everyday to test them out. I like them better than regular flip flops as they look more presentable. Also I have a flat foot with no arch and these fit perfectly. They are adjustable too. ***I own other Birkenstock’s and with this shoe you NEED TO ORDER A SIZE DOWN***

Interesting alternative to the leather for sure. It’s very, very light weight, not as supportive at the leather version, but comfortable non-the-less. I purchased the black pair in 36 EURO, I am a size 61/2 US, great fit. I have not left them in the sun as other reviewers have stated that they shrink, but have washed the mud, dirt and sand off of them, dried in mud room, and so far they have held up. The quality for 40$ seems to be okay, did not expect otherwise. If your looking for a quick slip on and go shoe this is it. If you want a more substantial Birk, spend the $$ and get the traditional leather ones. Gave them 4 star as support is not exceptional. Overall I’m pleased with them.
