The Original Muck Boot Company Women's Arctic Sport II Waterproof Tall Boot

I never wore these boots out of the living room. The seam down the back of the boots is sharp melted fleece. The fit is perfect, but that seam is horrible.

I live in New Mexico and we get some snow during the winter. Every year when it snows and I have to walk my dogs for three miles, my feet are always freezing and so wet by the time I get home from walk. I started surfing the web for boots that were waterproof and kept feet warm. I came across the Muck Boot Co. It was the “SALE” on their website that caught my eye. Most of the reviews were very positive and the only thing I wasn’t sure about was the sizing. Many of the reviews said to size down. I normally wear between 8 - 8 1/2 and purchased the size 8. When they arrived the box itself looked so fancy. I wore them on a trip to Silver City, NM for first time in October and I walked all day in them. The most comfortable and fashionable boot ever!! There was no need to break in like other shoes. It poured rain that weekend and I walked comfortably in my boots with no worries about getting my feet wet! I absolutely LOVE these boots and they’re such a great quality boot! I am thinking about getting a pair for my husband for Christmas. I am an extremely happy customer!

Was looking for a rubber boot that could withstand deep snow, but also had a bit of style. I noticed this woman wearing these, tracked them down and could not be happier. A note in sizing: it is recommended if you’re half size to go to size up, which makes sense. I am - but not always. I sized up and they seemed too large so I ordered the smaller size and they were perfect. The return process is simple and free. The whole transaction is highly recommended.

Had regular Muck chore boot for 5 years and they were great. Bought these for dog walking in all terrain and love them. Couldn't tell it was 10 degrees outside even after an hour of hiking. Great grip, perfectly snug, tall, waterproof. Customer for life. Bought chore boots in size 7. Bought Arctic boot in size 6. Size 6 fit better usually wear 6 1/2.

I chose the tall boots since it's been snowing feet here in Pittsburgh. Regardless of the snow amount, these boots keep my legs really warm. I wasn't sure if they would be comfortable since they remind me of my rain boots and they dig into my foot and calf. But, these are super comfortable. The foot bed is thick and cushy so standing outside for hours, my feet don't get cold. And, again, being so tall, they keep my legs really warm and they fit perfectly so they're super comfortable. I think I will buy a shorter pair to replace my uncomfortable rain boots. And, the traction is great. It's very hilly where I live and in winter it's icy and hard to walk around without slipping and falling. No problems with these boots A+

Have had these for 1.5 years and love them for winter dog walks. Just wore them on a dog walk and had to cross a stream- they immediate;y leaked into the boot around the seams where the rubber meets the neoprene. They still look brand new and I've never worn them in water as they are so warm, I don't use them in shoulder seasons. No rips, tears or holes to be seen. Extremely disappointed I could not wear these while river fishing. Would love to hear from Muck about this. Anyone else with this issue?

I love Muck boots. This is my fifth pair and I honestly haven’t found a more comfortable, lightweight, warm and waterproof boot yet. I wear these boots all fall, winter and spring and live in a rural area - they keep my feet warm and dry and have a good tread. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that if you don’t take care of the rubber it will crack at the bend joints creating leaks within the boot. Using some sort of protectant will definitely increase the longevity of the boot.

I work in mountain operations at a ski area in the Rocky Mountains, and have used these boots for 4 seasons. Sometimes I work in my ski/snowboard boots, sometimes I work in my Muck boots. But on average, I work 4 days a week for 6 months of the year in deep snow and cold conditions. I’ve put these through the wringer and I recommend them. Just a couple heads up: they’re waterproof but make my feet sweat quite a bit, so as long as I stay moving, my feet stay warm. If I have to stand still for a long time in conditions around 15F or colder, my feet will get cold (and I don’t run cold). I noticed last year that my heel has completely rubbed through the lining straight to rubber, and water seeps through. I’d say for how much I use these, that’s not an indication of poor construction. My only complaint is that I wish they were even warmer.
