Defective footwear

Napa men's wide fit work shoe was comfortable, but immediately on walking both shoes squeaked, loudly. Assuming the squeak would disappear soon, they were worn for 2 hours at work before removing them. They were so loud it was embarrassing. They were returned and a store credit card was reluctantly issued "as they could not resell them as they had been worn outdoors". My response was they should not be resold anyway as they were defective. My past purchases over the years were on record and showed the assistant manager that I have been a regular customer with no previous issues

Shoes are great and store staff was FANTASTIC

Buyers should expect that the product is fantastic and the people in the store are even better, but whoever runs the website makes me want to NEVER go buy anything from DSW again. I probably won't. I have been bombarded with dozens of unwanted emails. They don't respect my request to "unsubscribe". It's annoying and disrespectrul. This company needs better management.
