Saucony Men's Excursion TR17 R Wide Width Running Shoe

I brought this thinking it would fit me a slightly bigger than my regular sneakers. For being a "wide" shoe, it's tighter than my converse or my other bands of sneakers. I can't say anything bad about the quality yet, but time will tell. Hmm looks like do anything else on here. Comfort 2 stars but I brought insoles and would you believe it, it's even more tighter. Well at least I saved some money.

Most comfortable shoe I’ve worn in my 61 years. I have flat feet and these shoes with the low arch profile are perfect.

These shoes fit small and narrow. I am a true size 11 mens, slightly wide. Bought an 11w, and they are both narrow and short. Even after nearly 150km of hiking in these shoes, my feet hurt. The cushioning is minimal. This is a shoe that seems like comfort and proper fit are secondary. They do appear to be a well made shoe and the fit and finish seems to be holding up real well. I used to be an absolute brand loyalist to saucony, but it feels like they are falling behind in making shoes that have "all the above".... whats the point of a shoe that last a long time, if it feels like crap when you wear it. You can get sketchers, or under armour or new balance shoes that are half the price, fit and feel much better, but may lnot last quite as long.

Pros: Wider toe box and the soles don't fall off, as with other brands. We are intermediate hikers and I use the Excusions for hiking and as my primary daily shoes. Cons: I buy a new pair of Saucony Excursion Trails every year. Sadly, over the past few years, the shoes seem to be getting more flimsy. They look somewhat cheaper, don't seem as durable and the inner cushion is not as comfortable as it once was. Saucony needs to go to their archives and pull out a pair of Excursions from 5 years ago and compare.

Looks great but not nearly as comfortable as my old Excursion TR15 Wide. I had both the regular and GTX versions. The 17’s seem to fit a bit smaller in width and length in comparison to several other Saucony shoe I’ve owned. The 17’s are a bit more comfortable than the TR 16’s that I also tried. The 15’s had the right amount of cushion in the heel. The 16’s felt rock hard and the 17’s could still use a bit more cushion but better than the 16’s. The Excursion TR 15 wide shoes were the most comfortable, perfect fitting shoe for me. The only issue I had with 15’s was how fast I’d wear out the inner lining at the heel. Hopefully the 17’s will last longer. I would love to know if there is something out there that you would recommend as being a comparable fit and comfort to the Excursion TR 15 wide or if there is somewhere I can still get the TR 15’s in an 11.5 wide. As far as traction, I do think the 17’s perform better than the 15’s on wet surfaces. Overall, I am pleased with the shoe.

J'ai malheureusement commandé une paire trop grande pour moi, Pourtant j'ai déjà porté des 11. Des 10,5 auraient mieux convenu dans mon cas. Mais comme je les ai testées et que je n'ai plus la boîte, il est trop tard pour les échanger selon les conditions de retour.

These shoes are almost immediately comfortable. It only takes a day or two for them to stretch and conform to your foot. However, the insoles need to be removed and trimmed immediately. The dig in to the underside of your foot on the edges.

Shoes are working out very well so far. Walk from 6 to 10 miles aday. On and off pavement.
