Nurse Mates Women's Velocity Wide Width Nurse Shoe

I bought these for work, (grocery store) 40 hours a week of standing and walking. They are comfortable but they do not hold up at all. I have had these only FOUR months and the soles are pretty worn, they aren't very slip resistant as they claimed to be and the pattern design has basically worn completely off the toe area of the shoes. I liked that they are lightweight but for $90, I expected a much better quality shoe. I thought if its a nursing shoe, it's meant to take a lot of wear and tear. Lesson learned I guess.

I have had these for about a month and I am glad I purchased them. I work in an ER and was looking for comfortable shoes that nothing could penetrate through. I have worn regular tennis shoes and unfortunately if accidents happen in the ER the mesh is permeable, so not good! I wore these around the house for a day before going to work and they have a feel just like a tennis shoe. I adjusted the shoe strings to my liking and I like that I never have to tie the strings or worry about them getting dirty on the floor. My feet feel good at the end of the day and I run for 12 hours. Happy with my buy and would do it again.

I got this shoes for my daughter who works at a hospital. She was very excited to have finally comfortable shoes for work. After a few days of wearing the shoes only for work, she experienced an uncomfortable back pain. She stopped wearing the shoes for a while and the pain went away. "Thinking there is no way is the shoes" she tried them again and couple hours later the backpain started again. Now she doesn't want to wear these shoes afraid of the pain they will cause her.

I've been wearing these to work everyday for a little over a month and they've been terrible. The insole is as hard as concrete, even after daily 8+ hour wear they haven't softened up. The bottoms of my feet are constantly sore when I'm standing in these shoes. They are also absolutely not slip resistant, they cause me to skid on even slightly damp surfaces. The outer surface of the shoe where the design is has also already begun peeling away. I regret choosing these shoes.

Have been wearing for over a week. At first they were very comfy but the more I wore them the more uncomfortable they became. I found the footbed to be very hard. I purchased gel innersoles that helped for a day. Very disappointed. First time buyer of Nursemates, will be my last. Slip on feature was great, too bad they’re so uncomfortable. Nice look just cannot wear. Run narrow and short. I ordered a half size larger than my normal size too.

I really like these for my work as a medical assistant. I am on my feet and they have been comfortable, my feet do not hurt at the end of day . I feel it has great support on my arch too . I love the laces and they came with an extra pair of laces! They slip on and off with ease so I can get them off quickly to take off at my door before going into house . The pattern and material are nice . I have received many compliments!!

Not nearly as slip resistant as my old sketchers. Pretty disappointed since they costed more too. Took a couple days to break them in but now they're very comfortable; I've worn them for 12+ hours standing some days and my feet hardly ache at the end of the day. They're cute and great for keeping your feet dry if anything spills on them. But I wouldn't recommend these if you work in the food industry.

I have bought four other shoes (all popular brands) and all of them by the end of my shift we’re causing my feet to hurt so bad. I did a lot of research before buying these and I am so happy I did. I have Plantar fasciitis and my feet have always caused me problems and these shoes are amazing for it. I ordered the wide so after a long shift they wouldn’t be tight! Hope this helps!
