Velcro did not last 2 months

I love new balance shoes for kids - the wide always fits my boys well. However, I am disappointed with this particular model. My 6 year old wears these as his daily shoe for school. He has worn these for less than 2 months and the velcro on one of the shoes is already spent and will not fasten. I have had this happen to other new balance shoes with velcro closure but after much more wear and usually around the time they are outgrowing them anyway. These are not cheap kids shoes and considering how often kids need new shoes due to growth - its frustrating when a shoe prematurely needs replacement.

Wide feet? Try New Balance!

My son has very wide feet. School shopping the shoe store kept putting him in a bigger shoe just to get the width big enough. A size and a half up and still tight on his foot. They had wides but not in the style he wanted. I asked a few friends and they all recommended new balance for wide shoes. I ordered the extra wide in the correct size and he is so happy to have shoes that fit all around!

Great fit for the flat-footed

great fit for very active, flat-foot kids like my son. He uses this for school. Other brands in wide makes his feet hurt. NB shoes in wide has always been his go to shoes. We have tried pretty much ALL brands out there with wide sizes ever since he learned how to walk.. NB never fails as far as comfort and durability. Material is very breathable, perfect for my son’s sweaty feet!

I can always rely on new balance for extra wide shoes for my son❤️❤️❤️ these were exactly as pictured and better quality than i expected. I think the price is more than fair for the shoe. The sizing was accurate as it matched the size guide we printed off the website (I recommend doing this) and my son loves them and hes very picky about shoes.

Our child recently had surgery on her foot and will be having surgery on her other foot so we had to find shoes that were both sturdy and comfortable for her and our doctor highly recommend New Balance and he was right! She is very active and these help keep her feet aligned and she says they are very comfortable for her.

Great tennis shoe!

Perfect tennis shoe for my active toddler who has a very wide foot. These are the only shoes we can find that are truly wide or extra wide that fit his feet. These are easy to put on and take off. He thinks they are comfortable and help him to “run fast.” I appreciate the stylish look that goes with most of his outfits.

Rave Run v2 New Balance

Kids felt shoe was very comfortable, light weight, and they could probably run a couple miles with them non stop. They were them at school and they come home not complaining of having their feet hurt. They also liked that it was a Velcro strap vs shoe string and the color way design.
