Poor strap durability

This started out as a great shoe. It gave great support and she could get it on and off easily. But as others have noted, the Velcro strap fails well before the rest of the shoe is ready. We've had this pair for less than two months and the loop holding the velcro on is about to break apart. If they can fix the material or reposition that so it doesn't rub then this has potential to be a great shoe. As it stands, I won't buy this one again due to the short life expectancy of that part.

Strap issues

I very much appreciate New Balance providing shoes with bungees straps for kids like mine that struggle with tying their shoes and the fact they provide wider sizes and are supportive of high arches but these shoes did not last very long. The top strap ripped on the one shoe and the red buckle ripped completely off on the other shoe.

Disappointed Wide Width Still Too Narrow & Poor

I ordered the wide-width version, but the front still feels too narrow and uncomfortable. Also, the material at the front of the shoes has already started stripping, even though it hasn’t been a month since I purchased them. Very disappointed with the quality.

My son loves them! Good fit! The velcro stays put. My son is hard on shoes but they aren’t very worn after a month
