Great comfort. Great Buy.
This is my first time purchasing the 997 series, but it still lives up to the comfort level I always look for in a New Balance shoe. It's well cushioned yet not bulky or heavy. I would buy this one again for the price.

Great shoe for the price
Comfy shoe, good for walking but not jogging. Should be available in a larger color range. Fits a bit small so go for full or half size larger than normal.

Very comfy!
Great comfy shoes-worn daily. Nice to have some wide options too. Highly suggest. Wish they would be included in the sales/discounts since I purchase many times a year.

Comfortable, fairly durable
Bought the gray and white ones last year, they held up fairly well and were much more comfortable than lower priced NBs. So I got these black and gray ones the other day. Wear them at work where I’m active most of the day.

Unsatisfactory workmanship
I ordered a new pair just before going on Vacation. I have 2 other pairs of 997H shoes that are good quality, fit well and am very happy with them. When away I put on my new 997’s only to find a seam on the inside doubled up and glue seeping out and the top eyelet completely sewn over so you cant put your laces through. They also fit wider and slightly longer than my other 2 pairs. Very disappointed.

Couldn't Be Happier
Purchased these for my youngest Grandson for Back to School. He had seen another pair he liked in a different DSW location but couldn't definitely decide. When we went to the local store, his first choice was not available and his face fell. Looking around with a " I'm really not into this look" he spotted these and immediately fell in love. He told me they were way better than the other ones and glad he couldn't make up his mind previously! His smile said it all...
