We took our Merrells to Alaska...with the Totem Pole park visits and the Mendenhall Glacier Hike! This was a slippery trek at times, but our Merrells kept us steady!

This is the second pair I have bought. They don't last forever but I love them. They provide excellent support when they are new and very waterproof. Probably the best shoes I have owned.

The shoes I received are definitely either used or display samples. There are white stains on both edges, marks on both bottoms that I can't remove. After numerous email back and forth with the DSW customer service team, exchanging the shoes in-store left me feeling disappointed. They provided another pair identical to the display sample. Additionally, despite the new shoes being in-store for three days, no staff member contacted me; I had to inquire myself. Even then, the manager's attitude conveyed a sense of indifference; it felt as though my concerns were dismissed without any genuine attempt to address them. This entire experience has left me questioning the level of care and professionalism exhibited by DSW's customer service team.

These Moab Speed Gore-Tex were a gift for my wife. She has another pair of Moab's which are a heaver model. The gift was a hit and she loves them. They offer superior support and cushion in a much lighter package. Hence the name Speed is well represented in this version. She recommend them to our daughters who each purchased a pair and are excited to put some miles on them. Will put them to use as soon as Spring hits.

I bought these for walking in winter because they were waterproof. I find I wear them consistently for walking in a muddy, sometimes cold park. I also wear them when I work at my friend's cat rescue twice a week. They fit with "hot feet" inserts, and thicker sock-keeping my feet warm and dry!

Love how the shoe fits true to size. Comfortable, waterproof and love the colours. Only downfall is the laces, which are round, hence keep coming undone even when I double knot.

Once again Merrell delivers. I’ve owned the brand for about 20 yrs. Consistently great for my special feet. Moab Speed Gore-Tex will take me hiking .. in style in my north Ga. mountains. Good traction. Foot doesn’t slide around. Great comfort in bed and sole. Waterproof with bellows.

I've been wearing the Merrill trail blazer for many years. It's always been my go to shoe for a light run or long walk. Since that shoe is discontinued, I figured this was the next best thing. I ordered a pair on sale, (which are not returnable) recently, and it turns out they really hurt my feet. I'm so bummed I know shoes are a personal preference for each individual, but this shoe is not at all similar to the trailblazer, so I don't think it's a good replacement. The trailblazer was part of my cure for plantar fasciitis, but I think this shoe will just aggravate it. I figured I'd take the time to write this review in case, if anyone else is looking for a replacement for the trailblazer.

Super comfy with lots of traction! Walking up steep inclines is a breeze with the traction. I feel like they ran a little big & gaped a bit in the ankle area.

Light and comfortable, nice grip, good for mild and warm temperatures. I wore them out within two years from walking/ hiking with my dogs so much.

Worked great hiking in a rainy Volcanoes National Park. Feet stayed dry, and provided great stability on the trails.

I bought these for my mom. She normally wears size 8 and I bought half size bigger but she complains it small. She cannot wear thick socks with these. Size up! These helped her thru a famous seashore hike in Asia.
