Built with waterproof leather and mesh upper, these lace-up boots feature waterproof membrane, 200g of warm lightweight insulation, fleece lining, gusseted tongue, gaiter D-ring, Kinetic Fit BASE contoured footbed, Merrell Air Cushion in the heel, molded nylon arch shank, lightweight EVA midsole and Merrell sticky rubber outsole.

Love my Thermo Akita boots

Hi, I was in the market for a new all season boot with the same durability and comfort as my Salomon X Ultra 4 mid wide Gore-tex bunt without the high price tag. These are great introductory boot to the hiking world and for anyone who just wants reliability from a reputable brand.

Bought these to replace 10 year old hikers that came apart and winter boots that are warm but have no grip. These boots have impressed me, even more so because they were much cheaper than similar boots in the store. They feel light and nimble and confidence inspiring in the snow and slush. They fit a bit snug, and are a little tough to get off, so try ordering a size up. Overall I'm impressed with these and looking forward to using them as a combo hiker and winter boot.

The shoes look very well built. I have worn them around the house to try to break them in as they feel much stiffer and tighter that my Moab's which are the same size. I think I would buy them a half size larger or maybe look for another boot which is wide width rather than regular as these fit small on me. I have been wearing Merrel shoes for over 10 years and this is the 1st pair where I have felt disappointed by the fit.

I bought these last winter and they are so great that I felt compelled to write about how good they are . I live on the west coast of Canada and am outdoors every day in rain , snow , salty beaches , rocks etc and these boots are lightweight and waterproof with no problems at all . My feet don’t get tired or sweaty and keep totally dry . I love them and after putting them through the elements they still look new .

I have tried many many shoes in the past that would be light weight and good for long duty work. By far these ones are the best!! I usually work 14 hrs a day and these are extra light and very comfortable on the feet. Would highly recommend this product to someone who typically works more than 8 hrs a day and need that extra light weight comfort.

The fit was fantastic. The last that they used must’ve been moulded from my foot. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe but I bought a size 10 boot. They are very warm and comfortable. They breathe very well too. The only question I was left with is do they require continual weatherproofing and spraying. Does anyone have an answer to that question?
