Not Gore-Tex. False Description

Ordered it seeing it was described at Gore-Tex/waterproof. Received a non Gore-Tex product. Now I see the other reviews mention this now too. Won't bother ordering another. Will return to store.

FALSE Claims! NOT GORE-TEX.

I bought these shoes as they are advertised as Gore-Tex. The shoes fit nicely, and seemed like good quality. However, I was sent a version of the Fly Strike that was NOT Gore-Tex. I re-ordered them after speaking to an agent (who was very apologetic and helpful). The second pair came in, but it also was NOT Gore-Tex. I went to the local store and returned them after speaking to the salesperson. She informed me that the model number that is on their web-site is the non-Gore-tex version of the shoe. I was then showed other models of trail running shoes. After reading the reviews at home, I noticed that there is a review that is more than a year old that states that these shoes are not Gore-Tex. Why was the description not updated? Seems like false advertising whether intentional or not.

Umm. Too bad the top eyelet broke after unboxing, and trying to straighten the lace; not even trying to do them up. :(

NOT GORE-TEX

Before ordering I did not read the earlier reviews that pointed out that despite the title these are NOT the Gore-Tex version of the Fly Strike . Unfortunately there is not a wide version of the Gore-Tex Fly Strike on this site or anywhere else after doing further research. Deeply disappointed Shoe Co won't update the description when multiple people are being misled.

Can't go wrong if they're Merrell

These are the first runners I've owned in a long time, I forgot how low the rims around the ankles can be. However they fit nice, are wide enough for my big feet and have withstand some heavy use so far. They've already outlasted any shoe I buy under the price I spent on them.

Shoes being sold at my local location and online are advertised as Gortex and are not! Buyer beware check the shoes for the Gortex branding prior to purchasing. The ones I received have no Branding and are not waterproof

Solid wide fit hiking shoe

Overall very comfortable show. It's a wide width and usually they have flatter bottom but this shoe does not. Climbed two mountains in them with no pains. Very breathable. note I'm a 10 1/2 had to buy a 10

The toe of this shoe is very wide and the material used in the laces (nylon?) equates to my bows frequently coming undone. The rubber tread is great, however.
