Worst liners ever
I bought these boots because they seemed warm and sturdy, and I also love that they go up to size 7 because my son has giant feet but he’s young and I don’t want to buy him men’s boots yet. I have had keen footwear before that we love, but these really don’t live up to expectations. After he wore them once, the liners started coming out of the boots every time he takes the boots off, and when he puts them on, the liners slide down into the boot. The only solution is to remove the liners, put them on first, and then put on the outer boot. I tried them myself and they are incredibly frustrating. Super disappointing.

Thin Liner or Not Waterproof
My kid loves the boots. However, not sure if the liner is too thin or it is not waterproof, the boots get wet inside. Otherwise very good boots. I saw some comments about the liner sliding down and the boots being hard to put on. There is a trick about how to put on the boots. You can always take the liner out and wear the liner first, then put on the boots. It would be easier if it is in this way. I don't know if the boots are meant to design in this way, if it is, it is supposed to be videotaped to show people how to wear the boots as it's annoying if the kids keep asking parents to help them get the boots on.

Great boots for kiddos
These are terrific, my 10-year-old loves them. They keep her feet toasty and she can walk comfortably for miles or play in the snow for hours in them.

Liners are horrible
Liners are way too flimsy, super frustrating for my kid to put on. Didn’t have this issue with last pair. Why change it?? Refund please

Not waterproof
My son loves his keen shoes so when it’s time to size up for winter boots he picked this one. The review about it’s hard to put the feet in is correct. But my son can stand on that. The main issue is it’s not waterproof at all. My son walked with his cousin in the snow for a few mins and the inside sole of the shoes got wet.

Liner annoys my kid
I love that there’s a liner, however, it gets squinched down to easily and drives my kid crazy. Otherwise he loves his boots, he has very wide feet so Keens are basically the only shoes that work for him. These boots are very warm for our Alaskan winter!

Feet are the only parts of my kid that stay dry with these!
My 6YO goes HARD in the snow. His gloves, jacket, mid-layers, snow pants? They are all soaked by the end of a winter outdoor session. But, his feet remain warm and dry regardless of what he does in these boots! They are easy for him to take on and off and he can run and play in them easily. We are big fans!

New Design is not as good as the old :(
This is our child's third pair of Keen winter boots in three years, we have loved everyone up to this point, but this new version is disappointing. The old version (Lumi) was far superior to this new design. Keen still has the best fitting kids boots on the market, but: 1. The liner is thinner than the previous model. It doesn't stand up on its own inside the boot, and it slides down into the boot. When the kid goes to put his foot in, the liner gets all crumpled up. (also mentioned in previous review) 2. I assume that a thinner liner means this will not be as warm... 3. The logo is way too big. Snow pants cover it up, so it's not a problem when playing outside, but it's embarrassing to wear without snow pants. Why is a logo this big necessary on a kid's boot? 4. Overall, it's a decent winter boot that will probably workout just fine, but would rather have the previous model back.

Liner slide inside the boot
We have used Keen kids boots for years and they are fantastic. I don't know if it's because we are in "big kid" boots now, but the liner on these ones slide down when my kid puts them on. He wants to be able to just slip them on without holding on to the liner to keep them from bunching down in the sole. We may look for some new liners to replace them with.

I got these snow boots because KEEN did not have the Gretta boots
I would prefer the big kids greta --- winter is coming, KEEN should stock more boots in all sizes
