Keds Women's Double Decker Slip-On Sneaker

I’ve had many pairs of Keds and my black pair was getting worn out(lasted a decent amount of time!) so I ordered this. I’m kind of disappointed with the quality. The glue is all over the leather and the seams don’t fit together. They also have a mark on the white sole not sure if it’s brown glue? They’re comfy and all but kind of upset about spending this much on them and receiving a poorly made shoe. True to size but being leather, it’s a little tight.

Shoes are more low cut than what's in the image. Still cute, though, and I'll wear them next spring.

I have purchased these shoes many times and have loved them. This pair didn’t even make it two months before falling apart. I wore them no differently than I have in the past and I will now be finding another option for my everyday sneakers.

I've stuck with Keds for Double Deckers for the last 4-5 years. In no other shoe on earth have I had to wear a wide, but these shoes require it. I've gone through at least 7 pairs in various leather and suede colors. The last few years the quality and comfort have gone downhill. Steeply. My current perforated suede pair cuts the side and heels of my feet causing so much pain I had to stop wearing them. I simply couldn't break them in because the materials are so tough. Just awful. The black leather pair I just bought is at least the 4th in this style I've had. Purchased 5 days before getting on a plane to take care of a sick relative in late Feb 2022. Three days in, the white rubber portion of the sole started puckering. Embarrassingly, they started gaping in the days to follow with each step- but I was away from home with only these shoes. So to go back and forth running errands and caring for my relative (in other words- normal stuff, no marathons!) these shoes deteriorated within 7 weeks. SEVEN WEEKS! Finally, when I wore them in the rain, I took a step and the entire front of the shoe buckled underneath me. The rubber literally folded under my foot and pulled away from the leather. I'm lucky I didn't get injured. Never again, Keds. I've been wearing them for decades- and the double deckers which were my go-to shoes- for the last few years. The love affair is over. I deserve better. And so do you. Don't waste your money on this fast fashion. To wear shoes casually for 7 weeks and have this happen is preposterous.

I just received these in the mail. Immediately putting them on all I can say is WOW! I have such issues with breaking in shoes and having major pain with my feet. These are so comfy and I have not even 'broken' them in yet!! I have little baby bunions on my pinky toes and they are not in pain in these shoes. I have other pairs of slip on canvas shoes from another brand but they don't even compare to these, honestly. I have had those for a couple years and they still bring such pain to my feet. No comparison! Not to mention the canvas gets easily dirty while I am hoping the leather material will be an easy clean. Thanks Keds!!

If you love the Keds champion line, you'll definitely want to try the Double Decker slip-ons. They have all the comfort you've come to expect from any shoe that carries the Keds logo ... but with a modern update that's not just for the young. The fit is terrific with a comfortable toe box and a foot bed that truly feels like you're walking on a cloud. I own them in suede and now the white leather too. And both are equally at home with jeans, capris, shorts or any casual outfit. If you're like me and have been a Keds lover since your youth, the double deckers are a contemporary must-have addition to your shoe wardrobe.

I’ve always loved Keds Sneakers, but haven’t worn them in several years. When I saw many young people wearing the slip-on type again, I thought I’d check and see if Keds still had this type. I was pleasantly surprised that they do! I ordered the white leather (worry free for spots and marks). I also have 4 (!) other pairs, perforated and one a fun print. They are so very comfortable, with an updated cushy footbed. Fit is true to size for me, as I’m a solid ladies 10. They were a bit tight in the width initially, but stretched a bit for more comfort after a few hours wear. (Ive also has a few foot surgeries.) You can’t go wrong with this comfortable and in-style again sneaker!

The Double Decker Leather shoe has been my favorite shoe for years. I always buy a replacement pair before my current pair gets worn so that I am never without them. However, the poor quality of my most recent purchase is both a surprise and a disappointment. The shoes are only 3 months old (purchased in February) and get light use walking the dog and running errands, but the white rubber sides have completely detached from the leather at the point where my foot naturally bends while walking. (See photo) None of my other pairs have ever had this issue, not even the ones that are now 5 years old and are "retired" to be my gardening shoes. I am very reluctant to replace this almost new pair with another pair that might have a similar construction problem. Please fix this quality issue so that I can feel confident buying my favorite shoes again!
