Florsheim Men's Midtown Cap Toe Extra Wide Width Oxford

Florsheim has been making shoes since 1892! That is some track record, eh? They have kept up with the times and this cap toe baby not only is stylish, but very comfortable! Love the color!

Bought these a couple weeks ago for work, look amazing. Perfect for khakis or blue slacks. Keep in mind they run a little long.

This is a very comfortable shoe.

I stand on my feet all day and I need a comfortable shoe that is well made and doesn’t wear out after a couple of months. Most of the time the other competitors shoes have insoles that wear out after a month or 2 and make standing on my feet very uncomfortable. Also the appearance of the other competitors shoes loses its original shape due to standing for long periods of time due to the poor construction and quality. I recommend the Florsheim brand for exceptional quality of construction, durability and comfort if you are standing on your feet all day and don’t want to buy a new pair of shoes every month because the hurt your feet and wear out too soon.

These were the 1st dress shoes I bought for myself after my first payroll deposit 32yrs ago but they had a leather sole. Florsheim Wingtips & Captoe oxfords remain the 2 most popular shoes in the finance industry. Johnson & Murphy are the only other brand that has a similar history until Clarks entered with their premium leather light weight competitive models that have become my preferred brand. Florsheim Wingtips & Captoes remain a successful brand that has adopted some of the features Clarks have been using since their beginning. My wife has worn Clarks for both work & casual use and she won't even try any other brand.

When selling shoes it is very important to list proper width size . People who order wide or extra wide shoes do it for a reason ... they need the shoes to be extra wide , so they will fit them properly . These shoes were marked on your website as Extra Wide .. however on the box the shoes were marked 3E , which is only WIDE , AND still for 3E they were very tight . To me they fit mabe 2E and not wider . Extra wide shoes would be 5E . So giving a description as WIDE or EXTRA WIDE gives ZERO information for the buyer if you do not stick to proper " E " size for them

I bought a pair of these in brown, and liked them so much I bought a second pair in black. For the past few years I wore bicycle toe style shoes that were more narrow in the front. I was looking for a shoe with more space in the front of the shoe, and with a good contoured and padded insole to provide extra cushion for my step. My office downtown is about a 25 minute walk each way from the train station so I walk a lot; so much so that the balls and heels of my feet were getting sore. These shoes provided instant relief and I'm hopeful they'll help towards a full recovery. They are very comfortable, classically stylish, and blend perfectly with office casual attire or a dress suit. I would highly recommend!

Going on a months, and have not seen a thread! This is a great work shoe to have in the closet! 3 months of full time retail ( so you know the mileage:) and the elasticity remains. Great bargain!
