Bogs Women's Sauvie Rain Boot

I reviewed these boots earlier today after I wore them once. I added a star to my rating, as I found with the second wearing and a better pair of socks, they really do fit well. They do not slip and slide on wet grass like my Sloggers do, so that is another plus. However, there is still the problem with getting them on - I have a long handled shoe horn, and that is the only way to get them on. And both times I wore them, my socks are soaking wet. They are loose around the top, and rain poured in the first time, and the second time even the wetness from the grass migrated down to my socks. They are comfortable once on, but not dry on a wet day.

I am so happy with my BOGS boot. I needed to replace my old BOGS pair that I had for 6 years. They are a great quality brand and worth the price. Right when I slipped on the boot it felt warm and comfortable. The ankle part fits perfectly to keep out any rain/snow. Since I live in Ohio it is great for days the snow is melting and the ground is slushy. (Be careful when ordering this. There was a mix up with the order number when I first thought I was buying them but clogs were delivered to me instead. Make sure this is the item # 445955)

I liked these a LOT. VERY COMFORTABLE STYLISH AN FIT LIKE A DREAM. Just enuff room in toes to wiggle toes...an not too wide in the rest of shoe...just Rite! I Wish they wud come in a comfortable clog...so it wud be easy on an off...inside the house when I wear shoes I like to be able to quickly kick them on an off...to keep the house clean. An put my feet up on couch! Wud Also like a clog w a little fur on inside for chilly days...ive gotten a Lot o compliments on these r cute an comfortable enuff to b able to take a long walk an my Arthritic feet feel Fine after! I think the material an rebound soles help!

I was excited to have some waterproof slip-on shoes for warmer weather instead of relying on my tall BOGS boots, but...these did not work for me. The top of the shoe is kind of like gasket and it rubbed my ankles uncomfortably. I would need to wear high socks to tolerate that pressure point without getting a blister, and my intent was to have shoes I could slip on in ankle or crew socks. These also don't just slip on. You need to pull them on. There is a fabric hook which makes it easier, but these definitely require at least one hand to pull them on. I returned these and will continue my search.

I have always used "Muck Boot" brand for my rubber barn boots. I decided to give BOGS a try after noticing several of my students wearing them. I was used to a low muck slip-on, so was concerned about the BOGS boot coming much higher on my foot towards my ankle. It turned out fine. The BOGS boot is comfortable and offers a large toe box, something I need with thick socks in the rainy, muddy barn conditions. It has nice arch support and the boot is roomy enough for me to add my own orthotcs. I would recommend giving BOGS a try if you have only worn Muck boot or LL Bean boot brand.

Very comfortable, I sized up since they only come in whole sizes. I bought these to take my dog for walks at conservation area. I use them almost year round. In the summer they keep my feet dry from wet grass, rain, and feet don't get too hot. In the colder months I wear a pair of wool socks and wear as long as snow is not deep. They have good traction on soles for mud and some snow. My only negative is that after a year they started cracking on top side and were no longer keeping my feet dry. I bought another pair and hope they last longer or else they will be my last pair.

I just got these today, perfect timing as we are having a hard rain. I got them out of the box and struggled a bit to get them on. Went out to feed my horses in the rain wearing shorts - water dripped right into the boot, my socks were soaked when I came in! I usually am a 71/2 shoe, and buy an 8 in boots, but these 8's felt more like a 7. I thought these would be a great way to save my Mucks for winter use only, and would be better than my low Sloggers, but i have to say the low sloggers keep my feet dryer in the rain. Luckily I got them at a good sale price.

I absolutely LOVE the Sauvie Chelsea!! I wear a size 7 and ordered a 7. They fit absolutely PERFECT!! They are like walking on air! They are so comfortable!! I have a ranch and was in need of a waterproof/muckproof shoe that can clean well and is stylish. I am a nurse and decided they were the perfect shoe for my 12 hour shifts. I have tried all the top brand nursing and other comfortable shoes. Nothing was 100% perfect until now!! No pain or tired feet! I have a new go-to shoe!! These are a MUST HAVE staple!! Bog Footwear is the BEST for comfort, all environments, and stylish for both women and men! Do your feet a favor and just buy them! I have three pair...Sauvie Chelsea, Sweet Pea Boot, and the Stewart. You can't go wrong!! LOVE THEM ALL!!
