Birkenstock Bostons come up bigger

I can only wear Birkenstocks in the summer due to foot arthritis. So I bought these to wear as slippers in the winter. I never vary from an European 38 so ordered that size. They were so much bigger even with thick chunky socks they were too big both width depth and also felt longer.I had to return them to a loacal store

Saw this oiled black version of the boston clog on line but local store did not carry it. Ordered through Shoephoria (on line ordering) Arrived at the local store within a few days. Pleased with the finish and comfortable footbed.
