The elastic edge around the opening of the shoe is very soft and comfortable, and the velcro closure on the strap is very convenient. Hopefully it holds up over time. Strangely this shoe seemed just ever so slightly shorter than my other size 9 Clarks, making me wonder if I should've gone up a half size.

I bought these shoes in size 9 which is my usual size but they proved too short. I had to return them. Width wise they are fine but I would size up one half size. They are really nice and comfortable.
