Lining

I bought this for coming summer but eventually decided to return it. The shoe itself is good quality and comfy like other Birkenstock shoes, but the lining of this shoe is not smooth leather surface. It’s something like fabric. Given the feet sweat a lot in the summer, it will be hard for me to clean the sweat from this kind of lining and eventually the shoes will stink. No one likes smelly shoes, so I returned it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Better Box

I bought this as a Xmas present. Da shoe box that was shipped on looked old and a bit squished also they did not put any wrapping paper in between like they do with the other shoes. It looked like it was their last box and said we will shipped the way it is.
I don’t think the box look presentable other than that the shoe was in good condition that’s what all matters but still it should been presented much better

Birkenstock sandals are the most comfortable footwear out there. I have a 20yr old pair, and the new ones fit the same as the old.
Only disappointing thing, the new ones box looked like it was run over by a truck. Plus there's more scuffs on the now ones not worn than my 20yr old ones!!!
All around, I recommend Birks any day of the week

Got these for my husband. His old ones were disgraceful. He loves them. I love mine too but few places carry my size. DSW doesn't. 40. Men's start at 41. Women's go up to 39. I get them elsewhere. 1st pair was from a health food store in Burlington VT about 50 years ago. They were $20!
