Second pair! Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair that I've bought! I really wish they came out with other color schemes. I love the white and black pair they came out with but settled for the grey with black this time. I've used these rafting, chillin at the beach, and while hiking and they've held up great! After 3 years of abuse I had to get another pair.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Purchased for a rafting shoe

Purchased to replace TNF HedgeFrogs for use whitewater rafting and kayaking. + Shoes fit pretty well, maybe a little more narrow than I would like for walking but nice for being in the raft - size 13 fit pretty standard. + The elastic drawstring cinched well but I needed to tuck the tail into the bottom of the laces. No big deal pretty standard for that type of lace up. + Good looking design and material is comfortable. - The insole of the shoe is not secured to the sole. When it got wet it started to slip and float in the shoe. - After the insole got wet, when I walk the insole now slips around the shoe and out the heal (see picture). Probably will keep but am going to glue the insole in to the shoe, unless TNF tells me the insole shouldn't be doing that. If thats the case I will update the review.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Quiver killer

Awesome water and climbing shoes! Bought these for a trip to Italy where I knew we would be walking and swimming a lot. These did not disappoint. One particular day we were climbing over jagged lava rock to get to a swimming hole. The traction and sturdiness of these shoes left me feeling very confident. Wore with thin sock for longer hikes and exploring. Walked Pompeii in them on a 92 degree day. No problem. I wear 10.5 normal and ordered the 10 and 11. 10 was way to small and 11 was just slightly to big. Kept the 11. Two week vacation with flip flops and these and never felt like i was missing anything.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The best water sneaker I have ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 2 pairs of these water shoes, one for my wife and one for myself for our trip to Can in Mexico. I have never worn these before let alone even held them in my hand but I trusted the north face quality of the brand. wow am I glad I did. The first time I decided to wear them, was to go to a national park in Mexico called "XCARET" and I was a bit worried about wearing these shoes all day without knowing how they would feel on my feet. We left the resort at 6:30am and got to the national park at 9am. I walked all day throw rough lime stone terrain, swam with dolphins, went 25 feet under water in the ocean on a seatrek, went through caves, climbed some Mayan ruins and swam in 3 different natural springs which were 1hr each to get to the other side. We got back to the resort at 11:30pm and the entire time I NEVER took the skagit water shoes off and I couldn't believe how versatile and comfortable the shoes were for my very first time wearing them, I never had to even break them in. I was so blown away! I give them a 10 star out of 5!

Great design, but literally burning on my feets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love these shoes, but... 1.5 months to go and this is what I have on both sides of the left shoe. Dear Northface, please sell these side patches separately, so I will be able fix the shoe and wear it at lest for one full season!

Many Pros, minor con depending on use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: very comfortable, aesthetically pleasing -- doesn't even look like a water shoe. I purchased it for a recent trip and used it as hiking shoes or walk around city shoes, then water shoes later in the day. Works perfect for this versatility. Feels durable and expect this to last a long time. Cons: the grip on the bottom could've been better constructed. It's surprisingly good on rocks with algae in water but when walking around, wet metal and even traction for steep hiking gives me pause. That said, it worked but I think this is the only area needing improvement.
