not worth the price I paid for

I bought a pair of Merrell winter boots about 3 years ago from a store along highway 401 near Whitby. Thought it was a high quality brand for winter boots.
But had problems since year one. Rubber cracking and tearing started on sides of both shoes. Because I lost the receipt and it may have passed the 1 year warranty period, so i used Aquaseal to seal the rubber cracking.
It's been 3 years now and the cracking and trearing all over the shoes. This pair of boots I bought wasn't cheap and didn't even last for a year.
No, I do not recommend this product.

My original order was wrong, as I requested the wrong size based on my normal shoe size and with the boots, they needed to be a half size bigger to accommodate thicker socks. The return process could not have been any easier and within a few days had my new proper sized boots. I’ve only worn them twice this year, but both times it was for a whole day. They were super comfortable and very happy with the fit and quality of the Merrill product. I would happily recommend these boots to anyone who is looking to purchase a new pair.

Very going walking and hiking boots for winter day

Actually surprised at how well the boots fit, even with an inner and outer sock. I hike in deep snow quite often and even thought a little snow can get into the top of the boot, my feet stay warm. The combination of construction and light weight make hiking with my dog a joy. Next test is whether the boots will adapt to my hiker snow shoes.

Please never buy this boots, lest than a month , the boots are getting wet inside not r waterproof at all and also got a hole the top part of the boots inside, I am trying to return them, we bought December 24,2025 and today is January 15. 2026, you can see not even a month we have this boots and started getting worn out already

Warm and waterproof. Used in Toronto in -25C temperatures and calf-high snow -- feet stayed toasty and dry. Very pleased with my purchase -- the only reason it's a four-star is because I was expecting more traction on ice. This is not the boot if you're looking for stability while walking in icy conditions.

i returned the boot because the 13 was too long and went for the 12 shoe instead because the tongue is a bit short so the lace rides above it and cuts into your leg. The shoe version isn't thermal or waterproof and they fit a bit long. seems pretty solid and durable

I haven't had them long but am satisfied to date. The fit is excellent and the boots are very comfortable and light weight for walking. I had a similar pair from Merrell that I wore for many years and expect it will be the same with these.
