Just bought back, vamp rub skin, not wear-resistant, others are OK, wear this comfortable, warm, waterproof is also OK, stepping on the snow is no problem, winter is very suitable

Great boots for walking

Doc Martens are the best. I purchased these to replace a pair of Doc Marten chukkas. I walk on pavement every day and wore the soles out after 3 years of heavy use. Very comfortable for walking and I like the rubber soles that come up high on the boot. So, when you walk in small amounts of slush, water or snow, the water doesn't reach the leather uppers and cause problems. Also, on ice they grip better than other shoes. Treat them with a couple coats of Mink Oil when you first get them, and they will soften up and last a long time. Like them a lot.

Docs for a Fair Price

I typically DO NOT buy online but I wanted to buy myself an Xmas gift so I took a shot. The UK sizing worked perfectly and I would buy these again. The toe box is spacious so for my narrow, not fat feet I added a footbed liner. I also recommended this shop to other of my Dr. Martens fans friends. These aren't made in Britain anymore, but they fit right and that counts for a lot.

Great new Docs!

My last Dr Martens chukka boots seemed a teensy bit wide - at least in appearance - although I wore them for 7 years. I was pleasantly surprised to find these Bonny Hiking Boots on The Shoe Company site. Ordered online for pick up in store (easy). My new 'Bonnys' are a little less wide in the toe and are a perfect fit.; comfortable from day one. Thanks to The Shoe Company!

A good fitting, well-made shoe overall; heavy-duty sole with good grip...my challenge was (1) the finish on the leather was smooth and shiny on the right while soft and matt finish on the left, and (2) when laced fully to the top it cut into my leg -- worked fine when only laced one-eyelet down from the top, and gave me more ankle flex room, too.

This is one of many Dr. Marten boots I’ve purchased over the years. They are stylish, very comfortable, versatile boots that are true to fit. My one sue with these boot is that the leather finish is a little dull, and it is not a high sheen finish like some of the other boots, but hopefully a few applications of Mink oil will improve the finish.
