Trailing

I purchased these ahead of time for my up coming cruise to Alaska next year. I purchased the 9 1/2 as it was the only size available. I normally wear a sized nine. I walked around the house in these shoes, they feel comfortable with the thick socks. If you intend to walk a lot especially trail walking or hiking I recommend you get them 1/2 size larger and wear with thick socks for comfort and possible swelling of feet after long day of walking the trails. The size nine would have been uncomfortable as my toe would have been pressing against the foot of the shoe with no wiggle room. I recommend these shoes.

Good value supportive hike shoe for narrow foot

Bought this for trails of Arizona and it’s great. Less arch support than other shoes but good foot and ankle support and toe reinforcement

Soooo Comfortable!

I bought these for a trip I am taking in the summer. Apparently there will be a lot of walking and hiking and I want to break them in before leaving. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. They are really comfortable, sturdy and the grip is fantastic. Looks good and is true to size. I’m gonna head out with them today. Hopefully, they don’t rub in the wrong places. I’m a size 8, they fit well. I just hope they don’t make my feet sweat in the summer, as I’ll be traveling somewhere hot, but for the price, can’t go wrong.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good but could be better

I use trail shoes for short hikes locally where there is rocky terrain and some up and down hills that I need good traction. The traction seems very good but the shoelaces are extra long and I have to tie them 2-3 times to get it tight and there is so much left over shoelace to worry about coming undone and tripping over it. The fit in front is decent but could be a little wider (it's more pointy than rounded) and the heel is not as tight as I like it. On the plus side, this is the first trail shoe I have kept from many I have bought and returned. It's not excellent but it will do. I really like the look of the shoe.

Comfy and Lightweight

Took these shoes on an 8+ hour hike today in Joshua Tree. Love that they are lightweight and comfortable and I feel they grip the ground well. I hiked in sand and on trails with lots of rocks and the shoes held up well. I also ran in them with no issues. My only complaint is the rubbing on my right heel. I don’t have a blister but it’s red and tender. Other than that, these shoes are a very good value.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My second pair. Probably won't be my last.

This is my second pair of these Columbia hikers; the original pair have been worn down to being "gardening shoes" so I needed a new pair for daily walking. These have been great because they fit my high-arch foot much better than other brands. The heels stay in place without slipping (and blisters), and there is enough cushion underneath to keep my foot happy. I prefer a shoe like this, with leather areas on the upper to give stability to the actual shoe unlike so many of the fabric shoes that offer little support or structure across the sides and toe of your foot. These are my go-to shoes when I just want to do a serious walk/light hike and don't need to go for a full coverage hiking boot.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Instant comfort & flexible

Was planning to wear these for an hour to break them in, I ended up wearing them all day. No break in required as these were perfect right from the box. These are true to size and have lots of room in the toe box. Very comfortable and they don't make my feet look huge like other hiking shoes I've tried.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Awesome Hiking shoes

My friend and I each bought a pair to go on a 10 mile hike on gravel, mountain carriage path. They were super comfortable - I bought 1/2 size bigger for heavier sock but they run true to size. Perfect hiking shoe.
