Run A Bit Large

I read another review where they mention that their normal shoe size was a bit big and so they ordered a half size smaller and it was a better fit. I ordered my normal shoe size and when I received it, it definitely was a bit bigger because the back of my foot was slightly slipping out, so I’m returning them and exchanging them for a smaller size. Other than that, they feel comfortable on my feet

Yes, I recommend this product.

These shoes are so good for my feet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! These anthem 8 shoes are amazing. I own a few different pairs of Brooks shoes and I think these might be my favorite ones. They fit perfect they’re not too snug at the toe bed and they’re the perfect width for my feet. The reason why I feel like these are my favorite shoes is because I’m a busy mom. I have two toddlers I Chase after all day long and we go outside for excursions and just running around doing errands. These shoes fit all my demands. They’re so comfortable. I could literally walk on these all day long. The color is beautiful so I feel like I always look stylish. The shoes have helped me get from point a to point B with no problems. These are the ultimate all day every day shoes and they’re great for running too. Like seriously I love how these feel on my feet. I’m a girl that suffers from plantar fasciitis all the time so having the proper cushion for my feet is vital and these anthem 8 Brooks shoes did it for me. They’re the total package. I cannot recommend them enough. They are definitely my favorite. Go to shoes now. You will not be disappointed in how comfortable these shoes are.

Great fit and quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a great pair of shoes for anyone who is into fitness and cares about comfort. They're lightweight, have good support, and are good for running or going to the gym. I attend fitness classes at my local gym and found these very comfortable and easy to move around in. The cushioning is perfect and the arch support is good. I also wore them on my morning runs and found that they are comfortable and my feet and back feel great afterwards. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great quality shoe for running or the gym. They also fit true to size.

Not a pain in sight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first started my health journey, I thought being active would be easy. Like truly after living a sedentary life that I could just get up and go and be strong again. I learned that the hard way! Building muscle and callouses take time and energy that I didn’t have. It took years to lose it, and it took years to build it up. Now, years into it, I have a few rules. Don’t weigh your self at night, use resistance on walks, and get a good pair of shoes! I have come back from a hiking trip with holes through my shoes. I have come back from zoo trips vowing to NEVER do that again. Now, you can’t stop me, you better keep up! I need a shoe that fits my longer ankles, fits true to size, and I can step in all day without a swap. Let me tell you, I think I found one! We trucked through the zoo, then through the grocery store. I chased after the dog that runs when you call him, he happily walked ME 3 miles. my daily step goals are truly easier with the anthem 8. The shoe transitions perfectly from running into all day wear. The cushion is SO SOFT. Like I couldn’t understand how it has the support and is still so soft. The breathability is amazing for keeping my feet dry. I was happy to love this one.

Great all terrain running sneaker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mom to 4 kids raging from 8 years- 1 year as well as have been running for over 10 years and have tried my fair share of different sneakers. I was never able to find a pair that I could run both on the treadmill and outside with, as well as wear all day while taking care of my toddler and baby, until these. I have found that most running shoes I have owned hurt my knees and lower back the next day if I wore them for my day to day activities as well as running. I have been wearing these sneakers for 2 weeks now, usually for multiple hours a day, and I can see that I feel great. Since I live in the east coast, which had our fair share of snow and freezing winter days recently, I haven’t been outside most days and have been using this on my treadmill and trail running outside. I love them! The cushioning is great! The DNA loft v2 cushioning is effective in being lightweight, yet comfortable. These shoes are lighter than a lot of my running shoes and have less cushioning, but I still feel they are adequate or maybe even superior for my knees and back. Everyone has been telling me to try Brooks and I am so happy I finally did! Just a note on sizing. I vary from a 9-9.5 and I think that these run a little true to size/ small so I went with a 9.5 and they are great!

DSW Sent Me A Used Shoe

I was so disappointed to find that they sent me a display shoe. These running shoes have a memory type foam and so when I tried them on, the “used” one felt flatter than the other one. I wouldn’t have cared otherwise but there was a difference in how they felt and also, the one shoe did look more dirty than the other. It seems like it would be a great pair for running but DSW did me dirty. I gave it 3 stars because I didn’t get to try them but it’s really DSW ‘s fault.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice cushioning, but no removable insole, and squeaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear Brooks Running shoes exclusively. I recently purchased the Anthem 8 as it was a great price point. I didn't read the entire description of the shoes, and realized that the insole cannot be removed. I need an orthotic and cannot use them in these shoes. I will be returning due to this issue as wells the squeaking when I walk on a hard surface. I am hopeful that my old standard, the Ghost, is still the quality I expect from Brooks.

Sticking with Ghost from now on

I decided to try Anthem instead of Ghost, which I always buy. I found the Anthem to be too narrow, and I actually have narrow feet. I do have problems with my feet and within a day of wearing the new Anthem shoes, I developed a blister on my right foot. Fortunately, sending them back, receiving a refund and buying a new pair of Ghost was easy. I liked the cushioning of Anthem, but the blister was a reason to return.
