I bought these shoes for my husband because he needed something new for work. He works on his feet all day and has a hip that needs to be replaced. The shoe he always used to get is no longer available so I bought this Florsheim. He could not say enough about this shoe. He said it is the most comfortable shoe he ever had. I will be buying another pair of the black ones and the brown. He doesn't want to take the chance of them being discontinued. I scored on this one!

Slip-ons Vs Tie Dress Shoes

My husband has always rejected slip-on dress shoes as he preferred tie shoes….but because he is facing knee surgery, I wanted him to have shoes that were easy to put on. Reluctantly, he agreed. Interestingly, these are the shoes he wears all the time and his knee surgery is two weeks off. When I ask, “how do you like your new shoes?”, he just grins and admits he is a convert!

I have had a lot of dress shoes in my life and have grown tired having to accept the norm of hard, uncomfortable shoes that you could not stand to wear all day! I went on a search therefore for a great looking pair of shoes that were also comfortable. If you are looking for the same, you can stop looking. These shoes are definitely all-day comfortable and every-day shoes.

I had not purchased Florsheim shoes for many years. They used to be my favorite brand. I was pleasantly surprised with the fit and quality of the Midtown Slip-On. The Comfortech sole provides excellent cushioning. My heels tended to slip a bit at first but I solved that with felt tongue pads. I now own both brown and black in this shoe. Great dress/casual choice.

My husband is very hard to please when it comes to buying clothes/shoes. He is all about keeping it simple, comfortable and durable. Some of the trends make meeting those requirements impossible but these shoes are a winner! He has them in black and cognac and this last purchase was a replacement pair of the black. These shoes are sharp looking and wear well.

Brought afew weeks ago after trying on every formal slip on in the place. This was the only one that fit well and felt fine when I walked or stand. I wanted to replace an old shoe I had that was worn and no longer gave the support I wanted. This looks to be a good replacement. I wanted a shoe to give me very good support if I am standing or walking all day.

Florsheim Loafer - Comfortable and dressy

I purchased these loafers to wear while flying to and attending meetings overseas for a week. I have a traditional Florsheim Imperial Oxford wingtip pair that I had planned to wear for the meeting with the loafer for the less formal events. However, the shoes were so comfortable and still looked dressy that I wore them for the whole meeting week. Great pair.

I have worn this shoe on three occasions since I bought. It looks great and is very comfortable. I wore it all day the day after I purchased it and had not problems. It takes to polish very well and I will probably buy another pair when I need new shoes. I would have liked it also in Cordovan, but it does not come in that color.
