I would give this boot 5 stars based on comfort & style BUT I wore this shoe less than 5 times and the heel color is rubbing off from driving. The color of mine are black, not a very dark brown as pictured. I would be ok with it being black if it was that color throughout the heel. As you can see from the pictures it’s a very light brown underneath. One of the little rubber strips was coming off & I had to trim it. I’m devastated as I spent a lot of money on a boot that looks like I wore it a million times after only 5 uses. Not that it should even matter but of those 5 times it was in dry weather. I don’t know what to do with them or how to even make them look better. If I take them to shoe repair it will cost a lot of money to replace the heel. I do not recommend at all. For this amount of money they are not well made.

I bought this cute bootie in gray. I wore them to the work one time and the color wore off. I work in an office setting so it’s not like I’m out wearing the shoes in bad conditions. The color wears off and they look horrible after one wear. I can’t speak for the other colors, but do not buy gray.

Attractive, high quality leather bootie. Unfortunately I was looking for a little more lift in the hem so these will be going back. They’d work great with jeans but was looking for something that could work with some skirts and dresses and these aren’t it.

These shoes are beautiful and I received many compliments on them.. except for when I got home and noticed the color on the heels were flaking off. I only wore them once and I am extremely disappointed.

Just got these boots and the finish on one heal is peeling after wearing then only twice. Too bad because they're so cute and comfortable!

This is literally the best shoe I've ever purchased, and to see it's on sale/clearance has made my year... (And I just got married! ;p) I've had a suede-tan pair of these so long, I can't even remember when I got them-- the better part of a decade, I'd say. When I tell you I haven't had to send them for repair, or replace them, or spend a whole bunch to have them cleaned: I have worn them almost everyday, to any function (Long/off-road walks, impromptu hikes, European cobblestones, rainy puddles galore, etc) and they are STILL going strong. The best investment I've ever made-- let alone 'solely' in the realm of shoes....
