Failed after a year

I almost entirely wore them in my home. For trips between the fridge and my desk :)
I'm small dude and didn't punish them in any way.
The sole completely detached after a year. I was expecting better durability at this price.
Both the Birkenstock and DSW support told me this is normal wear and tear!!
No, I do not recommend this product.

I have never had Birks before, but my wife swears by them and eventually I dived in and ordered them. I have to say that since early June (when I got them) I have pretty much LIVED in them!! I was told that they take some time to “bed in” so don’t wear them all the time for the first couple of weeks, but I felt that they were comfy from day 1. I am converted.

Bought these as house shoes last year for my sit/stand desk. They are awesome. These are some the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned. I’ve worn these everyday inside the house for nearly a year and they continue to be awesome. I plan on getting another pair for outside. None of my other sandals compare in terms of comfort.

These Birkenstock sandals are the best things I’ve ever wore on my feet in the summer. I wear them when I’m walking around the shop, not worried about stepping on anything sharp because of the strong soul and my feet are comfortably built right into the cork shoe. I’m even considering getting a pair of these for inside shoes

My fiancé loves them! It took a few days for them to break in but after that, they were great! He normally wears size 11 to 12. Reviews said they run long so I initially purchased the size 11-11.5 but they were too short. Returned them for the size 12-12.5 and they were perfect. They fit true to size!

Bought women’s as son has long, narrow feet with problem toes. Thought they would help. He wears them at our house and seems to like them -keeps them on until bedtime. Not needing much of a break-in period.
I got a pair in July. Also needed no break in period.

Bought as a birthday present for the boyfriend because he has never had a pair of Birkenstocks before. happy with how quick it came, and he says he likes it, however hasn't used it yet since it hasn't been warm enough, but i'm excited for this life change he's about to have.
