Keds Women's Center III Sneaker

I'm kind of disappointed in the quality of the shoes. Now, I've bought kids for year's. And I've only washed these 2 shoes 1 time. And they look like they're 10 years old, not happy.

I was hesitant on ordering Keds online for I haven’t owned a pair in years and wanted to be sure they would be comfortable and supportive. So I took a chance and not only are they the perfect fit (9.5 Wide), but with two screws in my ankle I’m able to walk all day with no pain.

I WANT TO LOVE THESE! But they HURT SO MUCH! Not the soles. The bottom of my feet are stepping on clouds, but when you walk, the part of the shoe that bends across your toe knuckles, DIGS INTO YOUR FEET. I HATE that they're so comfortable yet too painful to walk in!! I've tried loosening/tightening the laces, rearranging where the tongue sits - nothing stops the shoe digging into the tops of my feet. Sitting, standing still - amazing. Walking/moving - nope. I have had the worst time looking for KEDS that fit well and I finally found them - but now they hurt like heck. I'm so so so so sad. They're so cute! I'm going to have to return them...

Compared to the Canvas II of previous years, this shoe is very disappointing. I loved the previous model for a summer walking shoe. The new version is not nearly as comfortable. 1. No cushioning in the heel, just a flat surface throughout the interior sole 2. No separate tongue - clearly a cost-cutting strategy, Instead of a separate tongue, there is just a continuous piece of cloth from the body of the shoe - much less craftsmanship required. 3. The space between the rows of eyelets is much wider - another production cost-cutter - it seems like this requires much less material.

I have a few pair of Center III laced up that I love. The last pair came with blue inserts instead of the regular shown in the photos. They are not as comfortable. Wish they did not change them,

Not good if you have bunions due to the stitching across the top of the shoe. No arch support. If you do not have either of these issues its a nice looking shoe

I ordered a 7 W due to Keds normally being too narrow for me. They are truly a wide shoe. I hadn’t worn Keds in over 20 years so wasn’t sure what to expect. The quality of these shoes is excellent. Heavy canvas, nice trim, beautiful white color. I made the mistake of wearing them for the first time with no socks to shop all day. After 3 hours, they were rubbing my little toe. Luckily, I had brought a pair of socks so I put those on and was fine. I only have one complaint! Please, please, please put an arch support in these shoes. Then they would be perfect.

These are just what I was looking for. A classic, clean, white sneaker in WIDE! I have a very hard time with fit, because I have a wide width foot across the ball of my foot (from pinky toe to big toe across). I loved Keds as a kid and haven't tried them in years, because I generally need more support and have the width issue. I ordered two pairs to give Kids a try in the wide, once I found that Keds had wides. The classic Keds didn't work well for me, as they didn't have enough support and also felt a little long. This pair has a bit more structure to them, while still having the classic, simple, clean lines of the traditional ones. The fit was very good, but a little too long (just a smidge, but with socks it's not an issue). I may try a 7 1/2 wide in the future instead of an 8 wide, which is my usual size in other brands. Personally, I wear a walking sneaker when I'm going the distance anywhere. For me, these are more of a fashion sneaker that will go with anything, look nice and feel good bopping around doing errands and doing summertime casual social things. I'm not sure how they would do for all day walking yet... but I'm really glad I found these. Thank you Keds for making wides!!!
